@Jduke221 in a half inch of shank, the thread completes 28 revolutions, it's essentially the standard for barrel end threading for flash hiders, muzzle breaks and the like, especially in Imperial countries.
@Jduke221 the major diameter is 1/2", and there are 28 threads per inch (there will be >28 threads, or <28 threads depending on the length of the part threaded). This naming convention is the same for all standard threads, as with a 1/4-20. Meaning the major diameter is 1/4", with 20 threads per inch.
is that mosquito the tactical version with the factory extended threaded barrel(with adapter) or a standard mosquito (ie no factory extended thread barrel) with an adapter? i hope that makes sense. thanks
So if some rude guy barges into your restaurant and accuses all beverages of causing fatness and demands you justify your position on beverages.. you are going to continue to serve the guy with courtesy??
ALthough a lot of people use many different types of firearms for illegal and evil use, the vast majority are responsible gun owners who use firearms for self defense and recretional purposes. I own a 22 berreta and enjoy practice shooting. The problem is, they are too loud and I live in the inner city. A gin and silencer like this could help me practice in my basement without distrubing my neighbors and I would not be using it in any unlawful manner. Take care friend.
@arthur84 Dude. You're a fucking dick. And I hope you know that everyone that views this video thinks you're a fucking bitch for trying to be an ass to the guy providing the video. Seriously. I deal with people like you responding to my comments, you go out of your way to try to sound better than someone for NO reason. Fucking dipshit. Like he said, stop beating your wife. And your fucking kids, dog, parents, and children you abduct into your rape dungeon you stupid cunt.
@moldyskittle That's my point, moldy. You don't help anybody, you don't answer anyone's questions, you're just a big, reeking pile of useless. What did you have for breakfast this morning anyway, two scoops of stupid?
@arthur84 a 22 is already very quiet, it can be almost silent with the suppressor. In a self defense situation you can get the element of suprize if the enemy does not know where the shots are comming from, very low recoil means great accuracy and pattern. Remember its not always a direct face to face firefight.
Ever shot a short barrel .22? its still pretty loud, ESP indoors or without earplugs.
a suppresser would bring the sound levels down enough to shoot comfortably indoors or without hearing protection... not everyone with a suppressor has bad intentions.
I have a regular stock Sig Mosquito and very interested in adding a silencer, is it possible to buy just a threaded barrel and swap out or do i have have to buy completely new?
Hey I'm really interested in a .22 pistol I was wondering what kind to get and if any1 has any opinion on what brand to get and y it would be better iv done my own research and think the Walter would be better but I would like a few more opinions
Great Video, very informative. Is the outback I easy to clean/service. I'm currently in the process of buying my 1st suppressory. I've narrowed down to the Outback 2 and the Sparrow(SilincerCo.) Any comments on the Sparrow?
Great vid! I'm considering a SIG Mosquito to get back into the groove of recreational shooting. Its been a long time, and its probably best to start out with a small caliber.
It's a damn shame about the tax stamp that goes with buying a suppressor and the laws against making your own.I love shooting but never liked the noise.
What do you need if youre just gonna take a standard mosquito (no threaded barrell) and mount a suppresser on it? I have one and I would love to suppress it.
its scaled down by 10% not 40% but for some reason the classify it as a full size pistol

You have any idea how many .22 suppressors there are?

a few questions:
are suppressors legal in the US?
does the treaded end effect the accuracy of the gun?
what is the cheapest suppressor that you would recommend?

Yes they are legal
no effect on accuracy

@Mulletboi86 I hope you live in a state where you can legally buy and own a suppressor. If so, go for it. You'll need some money for the tax stamp.

you mention gel to make it a wet suppressor! i used white lithium spray grease what gel do you use?

most of the guys I know use the gel from ultrasound machines.. they say it's cheap and easy to aquire
I know one guy who just uses water, and that works for a few shots, but gel works much longer
