  • its scaled down by 10% not 40% but for some reason the classify it as a full size pistol

  • gay

  • where do you buy silencers from?

  • what is "half 28"?

  • @Jduke221

a common thread pitch on many modern suppressors

  • @GunWebsites

will this fit a suppressor thats says the thread needs to be (1/2-20UNF) was looking at a European source for a suppressor?

  • @Jduke221 in a half inch of shank, the thread completes 28 revolutions, it's essentially the standard for barrel end threading for flash hiders, muzzle breaks and the like, especially in Imperial countries.

  • @Penumbra505

    better explanation, thanks

  • @Jduke221 the major diameter is 1/2", and there are 28 threads per inch (there will be >28 threads, or <28 threads depending on the length of the part threaded). This naming convention is the same for all standard threads, as with a 1/4-20. Meaning the major diameter is 1/4", with 20 threads per inch.

  • @Penumbra505 thank you!

  • @Jduke221 14

  • beautiful camo design

  • is that mosquito the tactical version with the factory extended threaded barrel(with adapter) or a standard mosquito (ie no factory extended thread barrel) with an adapter? i hope that makes sense. thanks

  • hey i have a question, do they make silencers or mock silencers with the desert camo. and if not can get it pro painted?

  • @MMARyan100

    yes and yes

  • so does the size of a silencer effect the sound of gun shot?

  • @spartanmaster127

Size yes, but also the materials used to make it, and what kind of stuff they have going on inside.. some are better inside than others

  • @GunWebsites sir question?what does comes with the package of this camo walther?

  • hi where can i buy a treaded barrel like the one u have????? email me pls....

  • will a finish like that ever come off or fade?

  • The name is cool

  • Other than gangland assassinations, what is the point of putting a suppressor on a .22 pistol?

  • @arthur84

You have any idea how many .22 suppressors there are?

Its as if you said the only reason to drink coffee is if you are trying to stay warm in the cold.. no other reason to drink coffee

Get over your fears and phobias, the rest of the world doesn't fit into your warped POV.. tools and things are not evil..

  • @GunWebsites You didn't answer my question. Did I use too many big words for you?

  • @arthur84

no, you just arranged them so that you look foolish

  • @GunWebsites So are you going to give me an answer, or just be insulting?

  • @arthur84

So if some rude guy barges into your restaurant and accuses all beverages of causing fatness and demands you justify your position on beverages.. you are going to continue to serve the guy with courtesy??

When are you going to stop beating your wife?

  • @GunWebsites Either someone hacked your youtube account or you're completely insane.

  • @arthur84

ALthough a lot of people use many different types of firearms for illegal and evil use, the vast majority are responsible gun owners who use firearms for self defense and recretional purposes. I own a 22 berreta and enjoy practice shooting. The problem is, they are too loud and I live in the inner city. A gin and silencer like this could help me practice in my basement without distrubing my neighbors and I would not be using it in any unlawful manner. Take care friend.

  • @eastofakron1 Thanks for the sensible reply. I guess if you have fussy neighbors, that could work really well.

  • @arthur84 i've got an answer for you. IT'S FUN!

  • @arthur84 Dude. You're a fucking dick. And I hope you know that everyone that views this video thinks you're a fucking bitch for trying to be an ass to the guy providing the video. Seriously. I deal with people like you responding to my comments, you go out of your way to try to sound better than someone for NO reason. Fucking dipshit. Like he said, stop beating your wife. And your fucking kids, dog, parents, and children you abduct into your rape dungeon you stupid cunt.

  • @moldyskittle You're a lot better at being offensive than you are at answering my question. Are you mother and father also brother and sister?

  • @arthur84 Apparently you're such a retard you didn't realize I'm not the guy you asked, you dumb cunt.

  • @moldyskittle That's my point, moldy. You don't help anybody, you don't answer anyone's questions, you're just a big, reeking pile of useless. What did you have for breakfast this morning anyway, two scoops of stupid?

  • @arthur84 a 22 is already very quiet, it can be almost silent with the suppressor. In a self defense situation you can get the element of suprize if the enemy does not know where the shots are comming from, very low recoil means great accuracy and pattern. Remember its not always a direct face to face firefight.

  • @arthur84

Ever shot a short barrel .22? its still pretty loud, ESP indoors or without earplugs.

a suppresser would bring the sound levels down enough to shoot comfortably indoors or without hearing protection... not everyone with a suppressor has bad intentions.

  • a few questions:

are suppressors legal in the US?

does the treaded end effect the accuracy of the gun?

what is the cheapest suppressor that you would recommend?

  • @Ge0Sh0t

    Yes they are legal

    no effect on accuracy

  • @GunWebsites thanks!

  • But there are so hard to get.the dang supressors.

  • i need one of them for the dam coons around here my 22lr would be to loud

  • @TheDadrobb

get some aguila 22lr ammo, primer only and quiet.

  • @eastofakron1 id like to get a cross bow but shit for that kind of money i can get on of these

  • How much hitting power does a silencer take away from the handgun?

  • how much do these suppressors cost and can you remove the barrel on a mosquito ?

  • where do you buy the outback ? my sig does not have the treaded barral. will the supperssor come with a new barral

  • @racingrobert1

    No, barrels are sold separately

  • that one looks green

  • Awesome! I want one so badly.

  • I have a regular stock Sig Mosquito and very interested in adding a silencer, is it possible to buy just a threaded barrel and swap out or do i have have to buy completely new?

  • You should be able to find threaded barrels, they are not impossible to find

  • @GunWebsites

In your opinion which one was quieter?

  • @Mulletboi86 I hope you live in a state where you can legally buy and own a suppressor. If so, go for it. You'll need some money for the tax stamp.

  • you mention gel to make it a wet suppressor! i used white lithium spray grease what gel do you use?

  • most of the guys I know use the gel from ultrasound machines.. they say it's cheap and easy to aquire

I know one guy who just uses water, and that works for a few shots, but gel works much longer

  • That makes sense. Thanks for the prompt reply

  • this pistol looks sexy as hell!

  • is that a limited edition or something?

    How much for it?

  • its actually 90% the size or 10% smaller

  • hold the slide back with your finger!?!?!?

    thats kind of dangerous right!?

  • not really, we do it all the time

  • I need an opinion

Hey I'm really interested in a .22 pistol I was wondering what kind to get and if any1 has any opinion on what brand to get and y it would be better iv done my own research and think the Walter would be better but I would like a few more opinions

  • What are you opinions of the more expensive offerings from TAC? Namely the Stratus and Quest?

  • These are the only ones I've shot from them

  • Great Video, very informative. Is the outback I easy to clean/service. I'm currently in the process of buying my 1st suppressory. I've narrowed down to the Outback 2 and the Sparrow(SilincerCo.) Any comments on the Sparrow?

  • We really like the Outback II, not familiar with the sparrow, only heard of it

  • Great vid! I'm considering a SIG Mosquito to get back into the groove of recreational shooting. Its been a long time, and its probably best to start out with a small caliber.

  • Good idea and good gun

  • Cool video man.

I think we are going to by one of these to plink with and might even make a video with it.

  • right on

  • thats a nice gun =] cool video

  • thanks

  • It's a damn shame about the tax stamp that goes with buying a suppressor and the laws against making your own.I love shooting but never liked the noise.

  • @jboritzki its kinda a silly law it only makes a gun quieter thats it, the NFA is kinda nessed up

  • What do you need if youre just gonna take a standard mosquito (no threaded barrell) and mount a suppresser on it? I have one and I would love to suppress it.

  • a threaded barrel. I think gemtech sells them

  • Comment removed

  • Which of the two springs are you using?

which cartridge? thank you very much

  • I didn't know there were two springs to choose from, so I'll have to ask.. we didn't shoot in this video, so we didn't have any cartridges

  • People asked.. we delivered (sort of) we just don't have a lot of Sigs so this is what we could get our hands on

  • How do you like that gun? i heard it only likes higher end ammo...

  • yea that right i feed bad ammunition in that itll jam quite offend use cci ammo for the 22

  • this one eats pretty much anything we feed it.. but all .22s are fussy to some extent

  • sweet.

  • i have that same mosquito only no working suppressor just the tactical trainer it came with

  • That gun looks awsoem.
