@itzRyanBro Very true, which is why lots of Bama fans feel like this year was a disappointment. It's especially tough cause we could have prevented Auburn in winning. Them winning 14 games and an NC somehow cheapens it for Bama, I think. I mean, if they can do it, anyone can right?

Saban knows his team would have benefited from beating Texas with McCoy in. End of story. Bama will take the National Title but not the way they wanted especially with almost losing to a freshman QB. That was an eye opener for Saban and the whole team this year. They have a lot still to prove.

OU had the lead vs BYU when Sam got hurt... i usually dont trash OU cuz they are a great football University and i give them much respect so do the players you dont see the players fighting after plays the game has a lot of class.. unlike other rivalries (miami-FSU)

what a classic, heart-felt, and emotional game. Even though the horns came up on the short end, it was still unbelievably exciting game. It breaks my heart to watch one man who worked for years and years to get to this moment to have it all taken away, but it was stellar to watch one man start his career on such a stage and respond to it. i will always and forever remember colt mccoy as a great competitor and class act on and off the field, and he will always be a texas legend...

you cant have it both ways. If you are going to try to say Texas could have won with McCoy in, I'm going to say Oklahoma could have beaten you with Sam Bradford in. That was a 3 point game and this was a 16 point game. If that's the case then Texas wouldn't even have been in the title game.

No decent Texas fan will say Texas would have most certainly won with Colt, it's just the likelihood that Texas would score would have gone up significantly, and I do agree the RRS would've been different if Bradford wasn't injured, but did they still lose games with Bradford in? Gilbert managed 14 points against Bama, OU's backup didn't. It was a 16 point lead because of an unlucky sack-fumble combo in the red zone. After that TD, it was useless for Texas to try anymore.

ur right about gilbert doing very well and as a longhorn fan i am proud of him and look forward to his future career with UT but wat u said about mccoy isnt true. He lost all feeling in his arm and still begged the medical staff to allow him to return but they wouldn't let him because the results could be severe and it could end his NFL career ahead of him.
