i am a Tar Heel fan, and despise, in sports' terms, both of these teams. I even think this sort of thing is bad for college hoops as a sport, but kudos to Laettner and every other "villain" willing to play before a crowd that might get turned away from the Rural Route Mudwrestling Palace. first time since THE Dream Team i will be cheering for Laettner to win. lol

I don't hate laettner or duke. KY got their revenge in 1998 in st. pete. something i guess duke trolls forget is that coach k was very magnanimous to UK after the win in '92, he even came on the air on the UK basketball network after the game which is unprecedented. But all of this happened when I was in elementary school. Looking at the media guide, I wish uk lost to duke in the final four in '66. Then we would talk of the all-white duke team losing to texas western.

@sonofman23 Hate Duke and Laettner, but It's kinda cool that he agreed to come to Rupp and get booed out of the building as a bad guy. He seems to just be playing up the villain thing to promote the game here, so it didn't piss me off. Laettner seems to get off on being hated and he will get it in spades at Rupp. But at least he's being a good sport and playing along. I'll give him that one.
