Ten years ago I went shopping for a friend on a guitar. He bought the Sheraton 2 because it sounded much better than the new Gibson ES335 sitting on the wall. It also looked, played and felt better than the Gibson. It was a no brainer. It sounded incredible....like this one here.
An under appreciated guitar. Much superior to the Dot model. As heard here with this excellent player, good for jazz, blues, rock, and everything in between.
@riskotibor80 I just picked one up today locally in very nice shape. 1993 model made in Korea as well. Fist semi halo body for me and am bondig quite nicely. Had to sneak this one under the radar though... you see I have a problem.... I like tot buy guitars....until I find the right one that feels right..... the wife just doens understand that logic.... ; ) She'll get over it until the next time.... Hey it could be worse... I could be at the tittiy bar instead... LOL
I have the same Tobacco finish on my Sheraton, also with the Gibson truss rod cover on the head, rather than the Epiphone logo on the recoent models. Does anyone know the age and specs of these older models?
The finish is "vintage sunburst" but the newer models (post 2001 or so) were more of what you think of as standard sunburst. Fantastic sounds and great chops, well done!
To bad they did not keep this color for the Sheraton and Dot.
The new ones are too yellow in the sunburst.

I had the option to buy either this or an Epiphone Les Paul for the same price. I went with the Les Paul. Now I'm kinda wishing I picked this one.
