@GingerKibble I just find that the set up is very Outdated and is a Throw back to the days of Norman Evens , and also Old Mother Riley.. But with Norman evens and Old Mother Riley. They had something which was a strong character role. But with Mrs Browns Boys . Its a set up of Tired old stereotypes and weak jokes..

The funniest part of Father Ted is Father Jack; in this show the main character is the funny one - which is how it's supposed to be. @3sixteendays It's shown all over Britain and Ireland. The first series was mostly filmed in Scotland. This isn't just an Irish show. It was on stage for many years before the TV series and has toured the world. Just be happy that a predominately Irish show is doing so well, not everyday you turn on the TV in the UK and see shows that don't only have English actors.

It was on stage for many years before the TV series and has toured the world. Just be happy that a predominately Irish show is doing so well, not everyday you turn on the TV in the UK and see shows that don't only have English actors.
