Those who construct idealized isms in their minds, i.e. Buddhism, Sufism, Islamism, Atheism ...etc, they cannot see that Shambhala has not vanished.On the other hand (the fact that it is not seen) - is also good.For various reasons. the set of Kalachakra teachings is related with the Kalachakra deity and this set of teachings were first given to the Rigden king of shambala who requested the Buddha to give him a practice whereby he would be able to practice without giving up worldly pleasures. This is the power of tantra which can confer enlightenment in one lifetime, but not without many years of practice. the Buddha had many diciples of many different levels. Those with a lower mental level could not perceive more advanced teachings, but just up to what they needed and those with higher ones could perceive higher teachings, which explains why there are so many accounts of his teachings..

im sry i agree on temptation of sex and what suffering it can produce but i believe sex is just like food its in our biology just like the hunger for food and drink,i belive we need sex ,part of our human nature i dont think we should denie it just like having people that love us and we love loving.(for Tonyhollywood)In fact u loose yourself when u love alot u give up thinking only for yourself. Well you have the rest of your life to do them and they can be made with a mold, modeling clay and an oven. You can within an hour make about 900 This assumes it takes 20 minutes to mold the clay and bake it making three batches of 15 in an hour. Multiply that by 360 that comes out to 328,500 done. So you'll be done in less than two years.

This of course depends on the mold, clay used quality of oven and hundreds of other factors.

Are we able to purchase these moulds from a Dharma Centre?

Are we able to create the statues by hand without the mould?

If we are better at painting or drawing, could we paint or draw images instead?

Unfortunately kecharahouse does not have any tsa tsa moulds for sale. making tsa tsas may sound like fun, but remember that this is the representation of a Buddha and if you screw up even one piece, there will be loads of negative karma generated. Thats why these moulds are not made available widely due to the compassion of the Guru(s) kechara(dot)com

because eating and sleeping are necessary to being healthy, sex is not. sex can be the seed of many malities. Like greed, envy, gluttony, self hate not to mention std's and sti's. Why take an un-necessary risk just to satisfy a simple urge?

If sex is ok, why was Buddha celibate, and asked monks and nuns to be celibate? And if sex is the same as eating or sleeping, why is it that Buddha needed to sleep and eat but not have sex?

Boredcloud, Someone had to give birth to the Buddha in order for Him to teach the Dharma. In order to give birth, one must have sex. I think buddhism accepts sex between those who truly love one another and wish to produce children, but Im unsure on this.

Thankyou for your opinion. I made this comment a long time ago and have since ceased to be a Buddhist. When I was Buddhist I was Theravada and so often disagreed with Vajrayana on some points, but that's all behind me now.

One reason for Buddhist monks and nuns do not engage in sex is because it increases attachment to onjects of this world whereas they are supposed to be renounced.

There are certain moral rules that lay people adhere to in order for them not to break their Refuge vows.

In Buddhism sex is just an action and is inherently not bad nor good. It is what comes out from it. If you cheat on your wife after promising that you will not have sexual relations on someone, you'll hurt her. If you're in your teens and having sex hurts your parents, then it will hurt them and therefore its not proper to engage at sex in those situations.

sex clouds the mind and therefore is a barrier to mind training. To expect all the lay people to restrain themselves from this would effectively kill of an entire generation.
