I grew up in Wynnewood in the 50s and remember the filming. I ddn't see the film until I was in college and I'll never forget it. When I returned to Wynnewood for a brief visit five years ago, I did stop at the church. I didn't take any video because so much had changed.
What made you visit and what recollection do you have of first seeing the film?
Hello, Doug. I went to film it because I was living nearby (Manayunk) and just had a chance to visit it since it's one of my favorite films. I first saw the film on late night TV in the '70s. As I mentioned I call the stairs of the Philly Art Museum the Keir Run. Sounds like you have some great memories of the place. I'd like to hear about your memories of the filming.
