@markallen511 I'm not crying, I love it! I wish it would do this every year... it's all the other idiots that can't handle driving in it that bother me.
Been a while since I last watched this. I was just watcing again and wondering. How much of a benefit might having a four wheel drive vehicle be in these conditions????
Wow, that van stopped real quick, considering the conditions.
Yeah, I was surprised too, especially since he was hauling a trailer full of brick!
4 wheel drive might get you moving faster/better, but it's a false sense of security. When all 4 wheels are locked up and you're still moving, it doesn't matter what you have, FWD, RWD, 4WD, AWD, the point is you have 4 wheels sliding, and you're screwed just the same. Most people don't get that until they hit something.
You are planning to put up more footage this winter, aren't you???? For some of us weather nuts, and outdoor fun junkys, that might be wanting to move up to your part of the country.
I would have posted a part 5, but I lost 5 days worth of footage (over Christmas, no less!) when I accidentally erased the wrong card. Wouldn't have been so bad, but I did a low level format, which made the files unrecoverable. :-(
I had plans to mish-mash some photos together, along with some humor at my stupidity, but that never got done. Maybe I'll still do it yet?
Glad you enjoyed it! Apparently, the hose from the back of the engine block to the radiator (or something) detached and blew all the coolant out. Simple fix, but still a heart stopper!
looks like you had a lot of fun when the lows hit us hard! I mainly stayed at home and played some games and stuff.
My place was actually colder, as the high reached only 22 degrees. i think 8 or 9 degrees that morning, with wind chills at or near 0 degrees. Crazy indeed!

Looks like a lot of fun.
What happened to the Olds Wagon????
Lanks again for posting this. Enjoyed it, and it makes me look forward to some of the winter fun in the NW.
