This is really inspiring. It's really cool to see what you can do when you can blend so many techniques together so seamlessly. How many hours a day would you say you practice?
Mate, very cool! Came across you by accident, and now i'm subscribing for sure!! I like how your open with the wickid things you doing and not being selfish and keeping them to yourself! Some people tend to keep their technique secret so noone copies!
hey man guess what? SUBSCRIBED! your fuckin awsome! you know you should deffinitly start recording because you would be a hit! you have so much creativity that i wish i had. I just cant think out side the box for some reason and this vid definitly helped. Thanks alot and deffinitly start recording, make a cd, and sell it on itunes.
p.s.-nice dreads, bet that took you a long time to get right lol.
thats awsome, ive been playing acoustic for about two years and im just starting to experiment with the bass 'cause there arent many girls who play bass, and i love the sound :)
Thats one of the funkiest riffs I have ever heard. I recorded it and chucked it on my ipod. Can't wait for next week, maybe you can give me some better insight into it! peace bro.
Wow, you are one hell of a bassist. I just got a new bass after 2 years on a junky one, and you lessons are awesome. You'll probably se a comment from me on every video lol.
You are really advancing my skills brother. Cheers to you! Thank You for the lessons. I am very poor and could never afford the lessons you are giving me. I can never thank you enough. I am telling everyone in the music scene about You. You are getting quit the Reputation on YouTube. It's time to get your solo CD in stores and on I-tunes
Bro that is EXACTLY what I want to hear and why I posted these vids.. for people like you! I need a kick in the but to get my solo stuff recorded.. gotta settle on forms for tunes and just lay em down ! Thanks for the words!
Cheers for thesse lesson videos man. You are a legend. I've been practicing really hard at the minute, and where you are with this is right where I wanna be... thesse are a great help!
Mate I guess you could say mostly self taught.. had three months of lessons from an absolute champ when I was 13.. 27 now.. been playing in bands and obsessing over other bass players since then.. teaching others has been a great way to learn!! Cheers Fingers!
Cheers bud, Being self taught myself its been a long road learning from videos and self exploration but I'm getting there. I'm still pretty new to the double thumb/ victor wooten style of slap thing as you don't tend to hear much about him in England. I'm more of a Larry Graham/ Mark King kinda player but I'm learning . Any tips on that technique? Cheers
so I posted a video of my attempt at this...if you could give me some feedback and some details about the setup on your bass...that would be fantastic...
