@pilotcapable Wilhelm, despite his actions, was actually working in the best interest of humanity: he pushed them, shifting the consciousness each time with the Eternal Recurrence, until humanity rejected the solution of Eternal Recurrence. Wilhelm didn't want to control humanity from behind the scenes anymore: he wanted them to break free, and push forward into a future where his influence is non-existent. However, according to the source book, he's still watching over with chaos.

I love this song, and this is my favorite video game series ever. This song reminds me of summer, because I spent all of August trying to beat this game. :) Since everyones talking about teams, mine was KOS-MOS, ziggy, and jr. :D Jr I used for ethers an healing, ziggy because he could survive most attacks along having decent offenss, and KOS-MOS because she had the best offense in general.(and shes my favorite character lol)

Had MOMO, chaos and KOS-MOS. The battle was pretty easy to me, and I didn't use Heaven's Gate or any of the Erde Kai- Oh wait, I DID use Erde Kaiser Fury once.. :/

In XSIII, you mostly find the whole EK behind just one red door. But I'm pretty sure the first two EKs in XSIII are pretty meh, while the last two EKs are really OP.

I used mainly Shion (heals + dps), KOS-MOS (dps + break), Rubedo (dps + boost with overtaker) for the first half, then when he starts to get more dangerous I subbed chaos in for either KOS-MOS or Rubedo based on the current situation, and kept Best Ally up at all times, and made sure I had at least 3 boosts at all times in case I needed an abrupt Gospel.

Love this game, love this fight, hate how the whole game can be broken by beating Omega Id and Erde Kaiser Sigma, especially if you get Heaven's Door. Threw that nifty little bugger on KOS-MOS. Gotta love permanent Overdrive with every ability costing only 1 EP. Overpowered? Oh yes.

Wish I got to play this game =P The music is INTENSE. Well, since everyone is discussing this, haha... my team on the second game normally consisted of Momo, Jr., and Kos-mos... maybe throw in Ziggy once in a while... I seriously /hated/ using Shion though, honestly... Ergh. /Shion/... [said with hatred] With her "OHAI GUYS, I'MMA MESS UP YA COMBO NOW~ 8D"ness...

@hotjtllove there are advantages and disadvantages to each of the healers. Shion is sturdier (in both HP and Defense stats) and can take many more hits than MOMO, but MOMO has many more EP than Shion, and doesn't break combos as much as Shion does. I used Shion, mainly because of her sturdiness.

@PhazonSpear For the fighters, you had 3 choices, Jin, KOS-MOS, and Ziggy. KOS-MOS is the middle ground, while Jin and Ziggy serve completely differant purposes. Jin is the guy you use when you just want to beat the tar out of enemies, while Ziggy is the one to use if you're seriously afraid of a party wipe attack (I'm thinking of stuff like Virgil's Limit Break in the third game)

@PhazonSpear Ziggy's HP is phenomanal, along with his defensive stats. Unfortunately, he deals damage like a declawed cat, and he has very little EP, and can only serve as a tank in this game, really. Jin, on the other hand, sacrifices defenses for pure offense. He has the lowest HP of the three attackers, and is the first to go down in a brawl. He makes up for it with attack strength.

@PhazonSpear I used KOS-MOS, because she's the middle ground. For Ether, you have Jr. and Chaos. It really doesn't matter which one you use, cause they're basically the same unit, one just has better defense than the other, while the other has better Ether Attack. I used Jr. because of the coolness factor. So Shion, KOS-MOS, and Jr. were my party members

@PhazonSpear O.o Wow, you seriously used the worst character in the game on your party? Well, I suppose it would raise the difficulty, but MOMO, Jr., and KOS-MOS with Sword Ethers= overpowered ownage of everything. 2's battle system is so damn simple once you realise how powerful AC chains are.

I liked this theme for the final boss, bu somehow, even the first time I heard it, I thought this sounded more appropiate on a chapter of Tsubasa Chronicles(big deal, Kajiura is the composer for the series, though didn't know at the time). This theme would be just right for some of the more intense moments of that series (Picture Shaoran vs Shaoran with this music). But maybe it is just me. °_°

Zarathustra was pretty damn easy for a final boss battle.

I used the hilbert effect, blood driver (doubles attack power) and Erde Kaiser Sigma for x5 it's max hp limit

Honestly, using Erde Kaiser ∑ on any battle just breaks the game. Yeah, it was fun to use, but there's no challenge. Beating Zarathustra without it was challenging, and made the win so much sweeter for me to savor in the end. :)

No way! You just have to link her to finish an aerial chain with Aura/Thunder/Fire/Ice sword (which ever), Ether Spear on her and Attacker on the others. With a party fully stocked, she is murder. On a lv 42 party, this combo with Kos-mos/Jr/MOMO chops roughly half the hp of the Patriarch...

For Dark Erde Kaiser, the trick is to use Ziggy to down the big thing, that way it will be at your mercy...

The reason why MOMO makes a good combo finisher, is because her attack type is Pierce, and since she, like Shion, uses only circle combinations, it make the two chicks useful to continue an ac chain. But the reason for MOMO over Shion preference, is because Shion's attacks in combo can be both beam and thunder, disrupting the chain. Filling the skills helps power her up, too.
