BMW Replacement Headlight FAQ - What headlights fit my car?

I got the 2005 facelift coup and on my non-xenon head lights it says "H7 or D2S" - does that mean my head lights are setup for xenons?...if so, what xenon kit do I need to get from you and I assume I'll need to get that H7 bulb socket adapters as well?

@michaeltnguyen Do you have aftermarket headlights or OEM? You are saying that you have a non-xenon coupe so there is no way you have the D2S housing (unless its aftermarket). You will have the H7 housing in there, and you will need to buy a H7 Replacement HID kit, that will convert your halogen lights into HID's. Give us a call or email us and we will show you the kits you can use.

@StealthAuto its the headlight that came with the car but i didnt buy the car new so im not too sure. On the headlights it definately has "H7 or D2S"printed on it though and my head lights do adjust itself up and down when you turn the car on so it behaves like a xenon lights (like you mentioned in the video).

@michaeltnguyen If your lights auto adjust then they are xenon, if you want you can always send us a few pictures and we can take a look at them and determine what you have.

Great info! Just installed my D2S headlights (from Stealth Auto) in my 2000 540i and I love the look and the brightness of the headlights. I can see waaaaaayyyyyy down the darkest roads now... and the Angel Eyes look bitchin' all day long.
