@DKRCecer Exactly i got the exact feeling from the meldoy , like everything is looking dark but its not over yet type of feeling... Classical music is the most beautiful music of any genre , its the music of this existence..
Why these musicians dont get recognized for this beautiful compositions while garbage like todays musicians do, is WAYYYY beyond me. Its sad.
Hans zimmer obviously inspired by this i say, shares a resembalence to the last samurai soundtrack, which is my favourite soundtrack of all time. Shenmue comes close second.
this game deserved to sell millions just for its soundtrack, and it had mind blowing graphics for its time, a storyline better then most blockbuster movies, inovating gameplay and incredibly addictive, and it was enjoyed by all types of people i listen to rap and i still love shenmues soundtrack, i suppose people where not ready for such a masterpiece
looking at the orchestral cover art i only just noticed that you can see ryo's face in the eye of Niao Sun! i've sat looking at this cover so many times before, yet never noticed this! this is song from orchestra is in my top 5 shenmue tracks. i am so sad about shenmue.

Just after 1:10 is what really hits me. It sounds so sad but hopeful, like a great loss has happened but things might still look up.
I don't know if I am just applying it to the Shenmue III feeling or if it is generally fitting to that.
