that shit happens. It bounced on rough ice right before he went to put it in the net.. At the end of an NHL game the ice is rough as hell. If you've only ever watched hockey I can see why you wouldn't understand this, but it's very easy for rough ice to make the puck jump around and change direction. He was making the safe play and walked it in, he got extremely unlucky.

He was trying to make sure that he got the puck in the net and wasn't trying to showboat or anything. However, it did look like he took his eye off the puck at the last second, but its still really bad luck.

The Stars ended up winning that game in overtime anyway.

it doesnt matter u dumbass, i dont care how bad of a bounce that puck takes, an empty net is a simple shot, the puck does not have to be skated into the net, carrying it to the net results it having a bad bounce or someone catching up to him before he can put it in, its a simple shot like i said you have an empty net like that you shoot it, no need to skate it in, especially under that games circumstances.
