  • @mfortee: "crock of poo" lol

  • I've always admired the Skinner but on this recording, it sounds like a Rodgers. The organ sounds TOO perfectly in tune where it kills the ensembles. That's just my opinion.

  • Keep the video on the organist playing, this is such a valid learning experience. To watch his fingering, stop selections, technique, priceless!

  • so I can watch the video but I have to put up with seeing flowers, grass and tree footage during the performance? I thought this was about watching the organists performance. What a crock of poo.

  • I have a question. It seems that since the remodel of the Tabernacle, the reverberation in the room on organ solos has been vastly reduced. Is this true in the room or is it the way the organ is being recorded?

  • @larryocca It's a combination of the mic placement and the full house of people absorbing the sound.

  • I prefer this music since it is relaxing and uplifting.

  • Thanks for posting this, Allen. In HD no less. I was unable to record this on my DVR last week because of a disruption caused by bad weather. Thanks! I also think it's a shame they roll stock footage during the organ solo.

  • It is beyond me why it is felt we need to see rocks, trees, birds, and swirling water during the organ solo. Rick did a superb job and seeing all the weeds and trees adds nothing. Glad I do not have to put up with that nonsense on the radio.
