Follow my advice: listening to Ulrich's shitty drumming while forming myself as a drummer made me a worse drummer. Stay away from him! He's a terrible drummer!

The things he just came up with in St. Anger and Death Magnetic are even more pathetic than the super simple Black Album. He just does what's easier. No rolls at all in St. Anger. Check for yourself. I can't tell if the same happens in Death Magnetic. I didn't have courage to listen to the whole thing paying attention to his drumming.
