My God---the naked adoration and love in his eyes, whenever he looked at her...He tried to move on, with others, even married...but his heart was always with Diana. I don't know what was in her heart---but she couldn't bring herself to go to the memorial service. Perhaps she cared, even more than SHE knew. How sad that could never be together.

Michael had grown up. You can clearly see the chemistry and attraction. She should have given him a chance. Now with Michael being so young at the time of their affair/intimate relationship, he did not take into consideration her daughters who were darn near his age. But I feel as he became older, instead of holding on to old memories, he should have been able to now look at the big picture and stop being selfish (by still wanting her back), and should have realized that everything is not meant to be.

The reason why they didn't end up together wasn't just because of the age difference, it's a bit more complicated than that. and the truth is that we don't know the whole story.

Evem Michael feelings im sure ebbed and flowed we are stupid if we presume to think we knew how they felt and how their feelings developed and changed.. but actions do speak louder than words.. and im just calling it as i see just like we all do! i stand by everything ive said based on what they have said about eachother and how they have acted towards each other =) they loved each other very much.

2 days ago @KSitz77 I think Diana loved Mike as much as he loves her but the 14 years age difference and the fact that she's known him since he was 10 made it impossible for them to have a public relationship. (I bet Diana didn't bank on the little Mike that she's known since he was 10 would end up falling in love with her).
Poor Mike, he said in his book MOONWALK how jealous and hurt he was when Diana got married, but he said he's ALWAYS loved Diana and WILL ALWAYS love her.

i love his face btween 0:30 - 0.38 how cute, how sweet, how beatiful and deeply in love. dont need any more proof after those scenes. god he was in love with her...
btw when he says "i thought i was with diana" and "my favourite people on this whole entire is diana ross", my heart breaks into pieces... requited love :( diana if you had let him love u, if u had let him be with you, i am sure things would be a lot different. maybe he would have a happy life instead of a lonely and sad one
