I think the turbo equivilant is a perkins 640, as far as i no they were only used in combines but they definatly exist

@AnacondaThe2nd First I want to say very cool tractor! Really dont see any here in the states. But for info on the Perkins V8's, the 640ci version was available in the MF 2775 and 2805's (the 2805 being the turbocharged version) My uncle has a 2775, very very sweet tractor, I have a vid of it on my channel :)

Lots of tractor pullers use them with one of twin turbos fitted. Have seen one with 8 exhaust pipes on it.

These engines were in Massey Ferguson 850 combines, and can be had for very cheap. I saw an entire 850 from the 1970's sell at auction for $950 - everything worked on it.

Its a Perkins 540 V8 out of a ford D-series six wheel tipper, but with a few claas combine parts
