windows xp 64bit its better than the "So Mighty"(i dont believe that) windows 7 64 bit?
because in one of my computers i have the xp 32bit (in "idle" just consume about 350mb) and in the other with the same spects but with w7 32bit consume about 500mb of ram doing nothing...
windows 7 use recurces to much i can play games with my config on recomanded,slow down,internet to,i need about 30 second to instaly nod 5 on xp ,7 min on win 7 ,and 10 min on vista, windows 7 is now to much bether on vista ..
Windows XP is so much more better than Windows 7, reason? It's faster, still works with most programs out there, still updates (Surprisingly!), does not use most system resources for it's appearance and still looks like an awesome system for how old it is today. Also, i don't mind if it copies files a bit longer than 7. I have used Windows 7 for a while, and it is slow slow slow! XP FOREVER! :D
@Blitzerboy1408 Well, that's partly true. Windows 7 is "optimized" for newer hardware, though, and benchmarks will show that on newer hardware, Windows 7 is indeed faster and outperforms Windows XP. The great thing about Windows XP (for the time being, anyway) is that it is so light. Keep in mind that XP was designed for legacy hardware, and so on newer machines it just flies. My thing is, if it's supported by XP, go for it. If not, settle for Windows 7. That's freedom of choice.

Sure, XP is still great for corporations due to its low system requirements but it is showing age in everything else. It was good for its time, 2001-2009. Just switch to seven professional and use XP mode or Virtual box.
Besides. DX11 kicks DX9 and 10.1 out of the water. 10.1 was more of a redefined version of DX9. Kind of like comparing 360P to 480P.

Windows 7 uses memory that would usually be wasted by XP for cache basically programs that would normally have to go back n' forth using your Harddrive (or SSD if you can afford those things) use the Ram instead which speeds things up a-lot, and when needed windows 7 free's up the ram for other programs to run.

Windows 7 is a complete mess to users who do basic computer tasks but the best for gaming. Why is Windows 7 a mess for basic computer users? Go look at the control panel...its horrible, you cant disable auto arrange or align to grid, the library folders are a complete fail, classic start menu is gone, user account control is still shit and pointless, and windows media player 12 sucks balls.

I really like Windows XP x64 better. I tried Windows 7, but it give me a headache. It's too bright that can't even be adjusted with brightness and contrast and with DVI too. I use VGA with my LCD monitor with XP and it's the best overall.

Totally depends what you do with a PC. If you only surf and email, you really don't need 8 GB for that. I'm still on an agp system with 2 GB ddr1 memory (!!!!) in it and I can surf and email just fine.
@LoLvienee I use 16GB or RAM and I don't even play PC games. My system is built for Video Rendering and Design which uses a lot more resources than any game out there. You gotta pay to play
I have to say that after I tried both Windows XP and 7, I find XP 64 bits way better and faster. It copy files and search for files faster than 7 and I can guarantee you that. I don't know why the video here show that it's faster to copy files in 7 than XP. Maybe it's a cheated video. Anyway, XP will never get old. It will always be there for XP lover. My Windows XP 64 eats 270Mb after initial setup with all drivers. :) Windows 7 eats 900Mb-1Gb. RAM is important for me when rendering 3D siquences.
And Win 7 has stupid interface. You cannot switch off those libraries in explorer.

Well if you dont want DirectX 10 and 11 and better looking videos go with Windows XP.... So many updated features I prefer in Windows 7 too. Copying files show actual rate of transfer in Windows 7 32 or 64bit for eg. I do love XP dont get me wrong but it is now for older systems. With recent updates, loads since March to October! Windows 7 x64 I wont be going back from! Btw Windows 7 has nothing to do with Linux!! Get your facts correct first.

This is a rather annoying video. First, try speaking and describing what is going on instead of blasting me with constant electric guitar music. Second, I have no idea what you just did because the text is too small to read which was XP and which 7.
I did like the large timer, though, again, have no idea what was being timed.
Other than that, I do appreciate the intention of helping people see the difference. It's just that in my case, it proved to be a waste of viewing time.

Totally depends what you do with a PC. If you only surf and email, you really don't need 8 GB for that. I'm still on an agp system with 2 GB ddr1 memory (!!!!) in it and I can surf and email just fine.

I have to say that after I tried both Windows XP and 7, I find XP 64 bits way better and faster. It copy files and search for files faster than 7 and I can guarantee you that. I don't know why the video here show that it's faster to copy files in 7 than XP. Maybe it's a cheated video. Anyway, XP will never get old. It will always be there for XP lover. I like 7 okay, but still not as good as XP.

i tried win 7 and xp win 7 is indeed better in gaming and coping moving files etc however it has many bugs that i noticed like my internet adls is going mad on win 7 it turns off sometimes or fucks me and its much slower then on the xp and many more ....... that's why i am using xp i hope windows 8 will be better ^^

when i m not false, windows 7x64 win user interface, for playing dx11 games, but use many resource, too many task scheduler, too many tracking; xpx64 win for dx9 or running older application on highest performance, but cant run dx10+dx11 program. both os has compatibility issue with app that cant run on x64 os

no... i just bought it a few hours ago before commenting and then when i went back to bestbuy he said that ATI Radeon Cross fire cards dont work with my PC because i got Intel processor i need AMD processor to use ATi cross fire cards. so i got a nvidia card instead im loving :) because on my old comp it worked
