Jorge Mario
@ChicanoTattooArt) Ifeel U on this ,but you need to check Enchantment,The Delfonics,Heatwave, and the REAL OGs,The Dramatics...they may broaden your scope on "Groups".........but I Feel you, that's how U rate 'em,cool. PEACE !!! StonieDogSTL........
in hs the quiet storm radio broadcast came on way after my bedtime, so I'd record & fall asleep. this was 1 of the songs I had, knew nothing about it & fell in love with it.
Basic training..boot camp..July 1974..8track player..this and barry white and the jackson 5 Skywriter and stevie wonder intervisions were the only Music I had..and that was on 8track..I remember playing this daily..i also had this Album. which I have lost somewhere.
@ChicanoTattooArt, agree. There were many good groups in the same genre as The Stylistics, like The Spinners, Chi-Lites, Blue Magic, The Delfonics, Temptations, but to me this group was, and is, the best.
yeah I remember all too well these songs that had meaning and love now the songs are rough and ready can not understand any of the bloody lyrics, love the stylistics thank for the moment
This style of music is still possible, and desirable today. This is a challenge to young musicians to write and sing music with harmony, melody and rhythmn....if you can.
ah nothing like real music. Words you can hear and understand. No profanity. The good old days. Where have they gone. Don't you just get lost in the music. What a group!
do u happen to have "i got time on my hands"? if so could you download here? it's a song stuck in my head since the 70's. my parents wore the song out.
@MeBenHalpin we're talking about early 70's an album called 'lets put it all together'. i have it on wax but i'd love to put it on my ipod. thanks for asking.
