What brand and type of video camera do you use? I already have a green screen and sony vegas as my editing software but my camera is kinda bleh and thinking of upgrading. Thanks!
in after effects it can be done easier by using a thing called keylight. you apply a normal color key and make it so your body isn't keyed out but the bg is then use keylight to get rid of extra green
Parker about a year ago i wanted to learn to make a prop bomb and i found yours i watched everysingle one of your shows and loved i them and i love this show keep it up i think its cool to take on something new i subscribed to the secret, regular, and revalution keep it up and build all aduience.
Awesome! I think you're tutorials got way better since your voice changed. Even though that probably has nothing to do with it. What ever. Awesome stuff dude! (and p.s. you look like justin biber and i don't know if you want to look like that and if you do then great but if not then whatever i take it back BYE!!!
Parker, thanks for these videos. I used to be a big fan of ParkersTutorials, because your props were awesome and your videos were funny and informative. DigitalRevolution is no different. Looking forward to upcoming videos. Keep up the great work!
@CKSpoiler A green screen is as big as you need it to be, there are no set sizes. It depends on where your shooting, how many actors your using and what you need to key. think of what you want to key and go from there. IF it's a person I would go for something that is maybe 6 feet and continues on the ground and makes a little path for the actor to stand on gren to. that way you can get long shots as well with his feet in shot not like this guy who can only really do medium or medium long shots.
@shaunberry1982 thanks man. but sorry i wasted your time. i found a green screen that my dad had because his company gave it to him. xD. im not even joking.
@CKSpoiler that's really good, glad you got one. If I were you and just starting out keying. I would get my hands on After Effects, it has much more powerful tools to key with. Also check out Andrew Kramer, he's good for green screening tuts.
@shaunberry1982 ahhh. my bad. the dont have after effects elements. i dont really feel like paying more for editing software than my computer costs. lol ill download the trial.
@DigitalRevolution101 Thanks Ive been needing one to do editing tips and stuff, but that hyper cam thing is bad quality and filming it looks bad in general.
I have to say, these tutorials are much more helpful, though not as entertaining, as your other Parker'sTutorials show. I haven't subscribed to that channel, and I have to this one, and I do appreciate your tutorials.
uploading my new setup video thanks to you. my green screen isnt that wide so my hands cut off alot. and the shot is far away because i didnt feel like panning and zooming.

mac book, pro green screen setup, 1080p HD camera. how do you manage to have all that stuff?
gallardo20000 1 year ago
@gallardo20000 I needed a computer. So I got a macbook pro. A lot of people have them.
It's far from a pro green screen set up. It cost me about $50 in total.
I bought the camera with my own money I earned from my summer job.
