The history of the past 50 years of Iran is full of actions of US against democracy and freedom in Iran; the coup against Dr. Mossadeq and the enpowering of Shah and his secret service against the people. Nikoo,I grew up with this song. I was 13 years old when this song was released. It's one of my favorite's. It's a song about true events. It's about a particular incident in Derry Ireland back in 1972. U2 stress that it can be applied to any struggle for freedom & human rights.
I found this video yesterday & I played it literally 20 times. We've known for years of the suffering, but it's took 30 years for the world to know. Thank you all for your support & to you Nikoo for posting it
