I live in Pittsburgh and I've never heard of this movie until my dad and I watched it on TV a couple of months ago xD but why does it take her so long to reach the Civic Arena from Central Northside? lol
I vaguely remember this movie back in the day, and I never realized The Sylvers had a cameo performance. What a nice surprise to see them. Love you Sylvers! :)
The best thing about this part of the movie is the fact the chick driving like a bat out of hell to get to the game doesnt do anything when she gets there. All she says is "I dont get it... According to my calcuations there is no way we are supposed to win today".... Good thing you rushed to get to the game.....
Greatest Basketball movie of all-time. It really captured the 70s, and I still love this film. I had Dr. J sign this movie poster and it hangs in my house proudly. Long live Moses Guthrie.....
sosomanzp - I've been trying all month to download this movie online but no real success! This is not only fun to watch but also I'm amazed at the sound quality ---- Is this not a VHS upload? I better get up with the you tube times. Ha ha. I too have relic VHS classics not yet released on DVD. Wow, this is a real tease. I seen "The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh" only once in my whole lifetime on cable and man was I hooked. Debbie Allen was super fine in there. Anyway, thanks for reminiscing.
@harlembreaker131 - Don't even do that. Warner Brothers has an video archive site where you can order professionally produced DVD-Rs of movies in their library. I saw it yesterday for $14.99 (I think). I checked ioffer yesterday and the guy wanted $35 for the same DVD you can get direct from Warners.
Google Warner Archive Collection and you'll see it.
This is the Greatest Halftime show ever!!!!!

Get it Debbie!!!!!!!

Debbie is a real dancer, compare her moves to the other chick who messes up and the camera quickly goes to an overhead shot...lol
Funny the Sylvers came out of a giant box of frozen fish sticks, funny contrast to the hype of an amazing song
