i got a 95 civic hatchback with a b20b non vtec i need help getting a good performance chip what can u tell me about the p06? i know fuck all about performance chips. i just wanna go faster and get more performance!
@paintborgfun google "p06 ecu b20" and the first link (hybrid b20) they do a comparison of an LS ecu, P06 ecu & gsr ecu... mine is socketed with base b20 maps
it all depends on what you have. or what speed you roll from. any 1.6 is going to be good with gsr or si tranny. any 1.8 and up id better with ls tranny in my mind. or if you go turbo ls is the only way to go. na build for quick racing grs tranny please.
good run I have same motor and tranny in my teg its fast 0-60 but slow to 120 I think about make it vtec but the tranny is too long even if you put b16 or gst tanny on non vtec better than vtec with ls tran
@abcabodcba yeah man ls tranny kills anything you pair it with unless you go turbo... i got a gsr tranny i wanna put on soon once i source out a clutch
maybe i keep ls tranny to get LSD for ls tranny.. so it ll be B20vtec... my boy had b20vtec but diff tranny not ls tranny... he beated 7 of them who had k series... n he beated evo 8 evo 8 had turbo... thts crazy
@D16VtecEK naw man the LS tranny will be the biggest bottleneck on your b20vtec... it'll be such a waste if you throw on an LS tranny... take note i have the cable LS tranny off a DA which has shorter gears than the typical hydro LS tranny off a DC integra... the gears are even longer if you get the hydro LS tranny

@D16VtecEK ls tranny is the worst tranny you can slap on a b20 unless youre going boost... otherwise source a b16 or gsr tranny... the gears are just too long on the ls each gear you drop out of the power band
