  • She needs max loads dropped in and on her!!!

  • How is the monkey problem in brazil?

  • I agree I would love to ride that thing and when i am finished I will ride the bike

  • @ bluebearbank, if you think V max is pricey in the US, you should check out its price here in India, adding up all the taxes and import duty its 52k usd here!!! and still people wanna buy it.

    ha!

  • Do yoooouuu come with the Bike?

  • @YOGIBENNY1 Oh you, eh he he heii heii!

  • ha! i love how the guy just walks away!

  • i prefer the chick! she´s the real machine, and fuck you again american racist fuck! go listed to some nofx, the idiots are taking over! that´s for your kind: shit!

  • go back to your fucking trailler and eat some doughnuts! get fat like everybody else in youf fat country! racist shit!

  • Yeah, I love V-max, but what, more than $5000 higher than the last model. price is amazingly high... I don't know who the heck decided V-max to be the most expensive bike in their production line... but well, 3piston caliper and all the goodies on it summed up to be that price eh... still, pricing is ridiculous... and no way I can afford it. I'd be happy with old V-max with some tune for now.

  • you guys don't even know about the vmax. Its a beast whether you like it or not, its a nasty bike. and unless you've seen one with a magnacharger super chrager, you have no clue

  • the new vmax rules!!!!!!!!!!!

and it will be 4 ever a great bike

i have one and its dam good to ride it

  • All this hype of an over-priced lard-ass version of the old one. The old one weighed in wet at 619, check out the weight of the new one! Haha Holy shit what could Yamaha be thinking?? You can buy a B-king with a Busa engine in it for $12Gs or less and whop the ever living crap out of this tanker. Shaft drive, standard forks, 5 speed, for how much cash again?? Come on your kidding right?? Unless your trying to buy an image look elsewhere for a lot more bike for a lot less cash!

  • "The King of the drag strip" is not back..I'm very disappointed in Cycle Worlds 10.26 sec 1/4 mile test. Its not near as quick as everyone was saying. Slower than a B-King BUSA ZX-14 ect... Its gonna take some work and more money to make a competitive bike at the drag strip.

  • damn that looks nice. I'd love to ride it

oh yeah and the Vmax is cool too

  • LOL

  • The King of the drag strip is back! I have always loved the vmax. Sorry Triuph and V rod Vmax rules once again. LOL! I wish Honda would bring back the V65 magna to spank the vmax LOL!

  • They are impressive in every respect - bike and chick.

  • does the chick come with it?

  • Yep. Cheaper to do that then make such a big bike handle properly. With the girl - no one cares! \o/

  • true, lol.

  • I just put the deposit down on mine. Overpriced? No way. I'll put the fit and finish against ANY factory bike out there. Personally I am not a fan of the mufflers, but how long are they going to be on there? That V4 rumble needs to come out. This is a case of getting what you pay for. There is room for negotiations at the dealership too... Shop around, this bike is worth it. Harley who? their 165 HP non road legal bike is $35,000 and needs to be rebuilt at least once a season.....

  • Yeah, compared to a Harley, it's not overpriced.

  • Here in Bahrain. The V-rod is priced at 19,800 USD and th V-Max is 26,600 USD!!

So for us the Harley is a better deal.

  • word in the streets that you ragheads get good MPG on camels so whats the latest price on a zero miles new camel

  • Your reply shows what kind of an up bringing you had. or lack off.

Also, the your level of education and i'm sure being a racist is the norm in your family.

I really am not going to stoop to your level and continue to reply to your comments.

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhh fuck tard i am not iraqi ya manyak just a good old american boy that took some of that towel head language classes just so that i can insult camel eaters like you hhhhhhh and yes i am american a proud one guess where i live in milwaukee does that ring a bell harley factory few of mu cousins work there every harley thats destined to your ragland they told they made sure it was a real POS hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh keep spending bitch

  • duuuude i am sooo hurt habibi ana arid anich 3ardhak ya bahraini ya manyouk hhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Oh Iraqi! that explains it..

You guys are the Crap that comes out of pigs shit.

3arth? you have no 3arth. your land has been fucked by every body. Your ppl raped and then killed for pleasure. And whats worst is that you'd rape your mother if she bends over. Which all iraqis do actually. and she will like it. Unless they have been killed in by saddam or the americans. You like in other countries & treated worst than road kill. All u can do is talk trash, coz all u r is trash.

  • A Harly can NEVER be a good deal...!

  • Yeah. I kinda agree with you.. But when u buy a harely, you don't want performance nor reliability. All you want is an engine that sound nice. and the lifestyle that comes with it. Harley can Never out perform a japanese or european bike, thats for sure.

I bought my harley coz i don't enjoy speeding nor do i like the noise sports bikes make. I enjoy the sound of the harley engine and the laid back style. Here, unforetunately, sports bike riders are not respected by ppl nor by the law. shame.

  • @rizz1rizz MOTORCYCLE riders aren't respected.

  • $18,000. is way too much ..The bike looks ok but the exhaust is dumb looking and would be the first thing to go .I also have never been a fan of Blacked out anything so a new paint job as well to accompny ..now its 19,500...Ill wait maybe 2 years from now and get it for 12,000 maybe...Way over priced...

  • 18,000 is too much for a 200hp on a bike? a don't think so!!! a harley never runs like this (only perfomanced sure) but who care's GO VMAX!!!

  • Someone said he could not justify the 18K price. IT IS WORTH IT. Think Harley, 40 year old 'technology' at a higher price. Think Victory. New 'technology' designed to look old at a higher price. Look at the V-max in this context: It has 4 cylinders, not two, and they are very highly developed cylinders with lots of valves and other goodies. WOW. That is the most....mechanical looking bike I have ever seen. If you don't know what I mean by looking mechanical, go ride a motor scooter.

  • Very intelligent and observant.

  • wow, what a beauty. The girl, not the bike.

  • P.S. THE bitch king or B K looks like a futuristic bug waiting to be squashes by V-POWER!!!

  • There is NO WAY that those overly loud rattle trap Harleys (have a good set of tools) could EVER compete with jap quality bikes, the stock V-MAX like my 98 already has beat the newest stock harley V-ROD. And the looks far exceed any harley built!!! The most horsepower, full production bike, B K NO PROBLEM!

  • she's hot..i mean the bike :):):)

  • You all cant afford it anyway so let it be, that is the most bad assed bike on the planet!!!

  • err.. no?? sounds like shit and is never gonna be close to look as nice as a harley v-rod.. still a fkn nice bike

  • As awesome a bike as the Max is, it isn't easy to live with. I had a '91 V-max. As wonderful as its engine was, you simply could not ride that motorcycle for more than 30 minutes due to its horrendously uncomfortable factory seat. Hopefully Yamaha addressed this problem with the 2009. And, be prepared to go less than 100 miles on a fill up - gassing it up is a bit of a chore, too. Just laying out the reality.

  • Popping the center section to fill up is a blast. You should see the Harley guys faces when I'm gassing up. Yeah filling up after 115 miles isn't fun...but wouldn't trade my 97 Max for anything except the new one.

  • im waiting for a year after they are released, look at the first versions back in the 80's sure they were fast but look at the weaknesses

  • Around 143 MPH in the quarter, and might get into the 9s. $17,990 is not that much when you consider the engineering that has gone into that V-4, the best design for a motorcycle engine. Two of my bikes are a Magna 750 V4 and a VFR 800 V4(99, best year). $17,990 is more than Suzuki B-King and that will be its main competitor. I've sat on the B King, too tall for my 29 inch legs. If I could sit on the Max, (30.5 inch seat?) I could make a decision as to whether to put down that $1,000 deposit.

  • I don't see how they can justify the $17,990 price tag. You can't tour on it. You can't go off road on it. It doesn't handle nearly as well as a sport bike. It won't win any "best looking bike" contests. All it does is go fast, and that doesn't make it worth even close to 18k for me. Heck, even the Hayabusa/ZX-14 is only 12k. Just seems like a complete ripoff to me.

  • Very good point!

  • That's got a whole lotta poke!

  • well, they have said that the limiter doesn't effect the qtr mile run... so it goes 10.?? at 135-ish. there's no way it's going to take back the qtr mile crown... plus at $17990... it's no wonder they can't seel all the 2500 bikes they are going to import this year.... too much, not enough. they should have just kept the other one... better yet, put that engine in my warrior... and watch the f... out. sorry max, not this year

  • how much will be a retail of this bike?

  • In the US it will be at $17,990.

  • I know which 1 id rather throw a leg over

  • Looks fuckin nice. Bike is ok too.

  • Wow, first to comment.

Looks nice, other than the Exhaust.
