you know when i watched the darkman i was around 4years!i was hiding behind the couach because my parents forbid me to see it! and they were trhue! so like a silly boy i didn't obey ! and after watching it i was scared and i afraid and i had fever during the night! and after that i had a phobia and fear for all the people who are burned or puting bandage around their face!so yesterday i decided to cure my self by watching the film !it was hard but i found the film and the charaters amazing
Darkman was really great Action/SCI-Fi movie - reminds me The Shadow (1994) and Spawn (1997). Liam Neeson and Frances McDormand were great.. Even SCI-FI movies were much better in the 90's
I just love Elfman's score to this movie. So much so that I bought the score on vinyl! It got me paying much more attention to orchestral music! Good post :)))
Hey people, go check out WolverineFan's tutorial for Darkman! It's super detailed so even computer neanderthals can comprehend and then experience awesome :D
It's about some girl trying to escape from the war using her imagination. And it is kind of sad, because that was pretty much the only way she could escape... aside from being sad it's also kind of disturbing. I don't really know how else to explain it.
canelog: Yes, it is rather gruesome and depressing at time, but I think it's quite good. Darkman is about a scientist (Peyton) who was trying to develop a new kind of skin, helping burn victims and the like, but when a gang (in search of evidence that Peyton's girlfriend had from work) blew up his lab, among other things. Durant (dude with the cigar) is a sadist, to say the least. Peyton was presumed dead, but by some miracle he survived and swore to see that justice was done (aka revenge)
oh... heck, that was sad T_T well done. faved and 5*ed from me. are there more vids like this? id love to see *hugs Peyton*
i just got the trilogy for Christmas, and loved it. youre right - this truly is a mix between Phantom of the Opera (hey, they even mention it in the first movie :D), V for Vendetta and The Crow. anyway, thanks for this. i was afraid nobody would have any vids...
@japanimationgirl aw you have to see it westlake is a doctor for making skin and his gf was boss was looking for some paper's and he sent like a classic convic known as robert drant and he didnt know what they want or whant they were talking bout and they beat him up and his co worker and blew him up and he found away to bring back his face for only 90 sec

Everyone; I'm no one. I'm everywhere; nowhere. Call me "DARKMAN"!
Darkman is one of my favorite heroes. He rockz according to he's motto, "Crime has a new enemy, Justice has a new face." Darkman rockz!

Thats one of my favorite movie lines. ITs a good superhero line. They shouldve made this a franchise.

Phantom of the Opera + Batman = Darkman
An underrated movie from 1990.

Don't forget elements of 'The Shadow' such as the laugh, trenchcoat, and taking numerous identities.
But definetely underrated.
