This isn't really an impressive hack at all. All you did was redo a slight bit of dialogue (mostly wording). The map, sprites, cutscene art, and story are all basically the same. Sorry.

Sorry about being so naive about this, and I know someone already asked about this, but how does one go about getting this when finished? Do you need to buy a copy of the game for a certain console? Does it run on a computer? (again, sorry for being lost >_<)

@Dragonite43 Of course. Like with any Fire Emblem hack, instructions for patching will be included in the downloadable file. Not only that, but also the staff credits of the team, contact information and some important information that people may need to know. The only thing I'm not going to include is the actual FE rom, that'll be up to you people to find a way to get it.

@bigdipper117 The spriter team already has prepared some portraits ready for insertion. However, I'd rather wait till I have all the portraits ready first for the gameplay to look smoother in terms of ponifying.

I'll re-upload each chapter of the playthrough when I have all the portraits needed for the playable characters for that chapter so that you people can see some more progress there.

So what exactly are you changing here? I don't see any evidence of plans to change anything past the aesthetic level. Will you be touching events, maps or stats, or will it be FE7 in a pony skin?

@Naglfar52 Well, aside of the obvious aesthetic change, the difficulty will also be increased. The story itself will be adapted to have a more FiM-style, while still keeping close to the FE universe (which also explains why some character relationships start only mildly developed)

I'm planning on modifying events to an extent, but maps will be left unchanged. If you compare it to the "Tactics Universe" hack by Blazer, TU is more game-customized, while PE is more graphic & story customized.

Confirmed that Fluttershy will take Florina's place. However, she'll fight enemies in a "different" way compared to the other pegasi that will appear.

@DuskoftheTwilight Due to the nature of the attack mechanics in Fire Emblem, The Stare cannot be a form of attack (you really can't consider it an attack in the first place, as it doesn't cause any sort of harm in MLP). Seeing that I already have implied how her attacks will work in the portrait contest design list, no sense to keep it as a secret anymore.

She'll be a Wyvern Tamer, with the wyvern being the one attacking the enemies. Fluttershy will only command it to do so.

Nice little touch making the magician a unicorn.  I hope you manage to get the help you need to create a pony mod of this, I would really enjoy playing it.

I always loved using the Pegasus riders in the Fire Emblem games, curse all those enemy archers!
