I absolutely adore the pieces used for the Queen's coronation. Does anyone know where I can purchase the music from it or have the list of music used, please? Thank you. God save the Queen.
@ZodiacBubblegum some of the music used was: Zadok the Priest by Geoge Handel, Gloria in Excelsis by Charles Villers Sanford, I Was Glad by Hubert Parry, and of course God Save the Queen, and there were a few other passages from the bible which were sang
charles is a divorcee, a philanderer who talks to his plants, he once said to his mistress camilla: "i want to be your tampon". in my opinion he is totally unsuitable to be King and defender of the faith, he is not of proper moral character and nobility.

I have all respect for Charles and harbor no resentment towards him, even after what he did to Diana during their marriage. But they seriously should just skip him and go straight to William. Hell Charles is already old enough, give the crown to someone who can remain on the throne a little longer.

This 'Queen' is false, and fraudelant, she failed, to uphold and enforce the Law of God, which she swore her utmost to do. Thus rendering her Monarchy invalid, Not only that, she is actually sitting on a FAKE stone of Lia Fail / Stone of Destiny / Coronation Stone. As widely known fact. Elizabeth 2 who is descended from the royal line of David from the tribe of Judah, was then fraudulently crowned on that fake stone in 1953, so in actual fact was never officially crowned queen.

@WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 Agreed - Patronage by any member of the Royal Family is worth tens of thousands of pounds to the charities supported. Hammys lives in a very drab and cheerless world - poor soul.
@hammys123 "...like most in this country"? where have you got gobbet of left-wing republican missinformation from? It's just not true. Judged by the frustrated clap-trap it's you who comes across as "miserable" - is your face as ugly as your foul mouth?
God Save the Republic ! the men are all equal ones: when he is born and when he dies; of the land for the land; without previlegios or stewardships, equal to the eyes of God and the world where he lives.
@luizetesilva It isn't so much to do with equality more than it is about sovereignty. It's about having a leader and head of state to look to when times are difficult.
@luizetesilva The Queen's reals are merely crowned republics. Sovereignty resides in the people in all but name. Their elected representatives are accepted by The Queen as the government. They govern in her name, but their basis is the popular will as expressed in the ballot box.
My parents applied a permanent visa to uk.... but my mom says I should know everything about the Queen, and the Royal Family and their roles... is it really neccessary?
This is truly amazing I wish I was alive then to see this. Sadly when Her Majesty sadly departs to heaven and we get a new King, I doubt this spectacle would happen because of lack of faith in the Monarchy and of course political correctness -.-
Queen Salote of Tonga took part in the procession. As she passed in her barouche, one of the BBC broadcasters asked who the chap sitting in front of the Queen was. Her Majesty, typical of her people, was a grandly endowed and the man sitting in front of her, actually her Prime Minister, was tiny. This prompted Noel Coward respond, "That's her lunch."
@mc0558 Not so, the man sharing the queen of Tonga's carriage was the head of state of an East Indies Sultanate. You're right the attribution of the comment.
People may want William more and God willing they may get him, but Charles will have to voluntarily step aside or the Act of Succession will have to be altered.
Surely someone there is thinking what will be most likely to carry the support, not only of the British people but the more problematic response of the Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders for whom the monarchy in fact does so little.
The monarchy as an institution does a lot for Australia actually. Most young Australians seem to have great respect for The Queen, more so than their parents anyway... I personally think Charles would be a great King
@SohoDelights The monarchy is connected with the Church of England; it represents the traditional values of honour, loyalty, duty, honesty, courage. Charles has shown us that he is not qualified to be king. He himself has said that he wants to be "Defender of Faiths", but that is not the legal provision. Living with a divorcee and having been one himself, after betraying his wife for 5 years, he possesses none of the personal qualities for the job. Whereas, William does.
That is a black spot on his reputation indeed, but I admire him for the enormous work he has done for charities. Charles has done so much good for the world, and I really think it's a shame that we only remember him for his relationship scandals. All we can say is what's done is done, and we can hope that he has learned from his mistakes
@SohoDelights Charities? He is supposed to do charitable work. What else does he have to do? He has an income of about £20 million a year, for heaven sakes. It is also memorable for his surley temper and offensive sense of humour. On a state visit to Saudi Arabia, he was introduced to a relative of Osama bin Laden and threw up his arms in horror, saying please don't assassinate me. Ha ha! But the only one laughing was him. Everyone, including the King, was insulted.
@mc0558 I for one am glad the Saudi king was 'insulted' It's the Saudis who are financing the Islamists and, for that matter, the diaspora of illiterate, peasant Muslims into western Europe, North & South America and Australasia. You surely don't believe they paid their own passage.
@mc0558 What would a president be then? Any better? Because he's elected "by the people"? What people? There is not one president in the world elected by a smashing majority! They are "elected" by parties, represent parties, being mere party presidents! Btw only few go to the polls! A president is never "elected", though presidential folclore suggests so! Presidents have no identification, no tradition, no historical conflict! Scots don't like Englishmen, but that's a "whole 'nother ball game"
@Rotebuehl1 You may remember that we executed Charles I, kicked out James II and deprived his son and his son's children of the succession. You may not know that the Act of Succession of 1701 passed over some 30 odd individuals to entail the British crown to Sophia of Hanover and her progeny. The British people make Kings and unmake them. The monarchy is a unifying symbol, not a divider. Charles divides us and has thereby lost his purpose.
@mc0558 I'm not trying to protect Charles in any way! But I don't line up with the usual unspecific and undifferentiated argumentation! Only because an alleged majority says incorrect things, doesn't make them more true! But you're convincing: "The British people make Kings and unmake them. The monarchy is a unifying symbol, not a divider." If Charles divides, then take William, who then could also become a longtime sovereign, like his grandmother! But the Queen will live long enough, won't she?
@mc0558 Fidei Defensor can be translated to both Defender of the Faith and Defender of Faith - He has shown himself to be a serious thinker - no religion can, hand on heart, claim to know "the truth" - Prince Charles has many strengths, not least not being afraid to speak his mind.
@andyrick123 It is not the function of monarchy to speak its mind, unless the issues are totally uncontroversial, impinge on the constitution, affect the well-being of the nation or endanger the freedom of the people, all of which the Crown is there to protect. Otherwise the monarchy should remain silent. Worse than that, Charles has shown himself to be an insensitive cad.
@mc0558 No, there's no reason whatsoever for Prince Charles to "step aside" - in any case I can't see William being a party to such a move - he gets on extremely well with both his father and Camilla.
It isn't just the divorce; it's the way he did it, taking that poor girl and turfing her about like that. Yes, she was neurotic, but if he had been different she would have been fine. She was the naive, immature girl; he the Cambridge educated man of the world.
But there is all sorts of other stupidities he has committed, e.g., coming out against certain architects and artists. Who the hell is he to make comments about other people's work?
@andyrick123 I'm a UK citizen. The monarchy is answerable to the people. Charles cannot be King if we do not wish him to be, and I do not think we do. Polls in Britain are outspoken. I don't know with the Canadians, Aussies et. al. think; and that is very important too. Charles is not the worst bloke in the world, but as far as the British are concerned he's lost our respect, affection and support of the nation. And his wife is forever marked as a home wrecker.
@mc0558 Hopefully mc0558, by the time Charles accends the throne, Scotland will be an independent, but small province of the European Empire. Have you noticed how quiet "Independence" Salmond has been of late? The Celtic Tiger has run out of (borrowed) steam - you need English money.
So looking forward to the Jubilee next year!

@WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 Agreed - Patronage by any member of the Royal Family is worth tens of thousands of pounds to the charities supported. Hammys lives in a very drab and cheerless world - poor soul.

God Save the Republic ! the men are all equal ones: when he is born and when he dies; of the land for the land; without previlegios or stewardships, equal to the eyes of God and the world where he lives.

@luizetesilva It isn't so much to do with equality more than it is about sovereignty. It's about having a leader and head of state to look to when times are difficult.

trackieben 1 year ago
@luizetesilva The Queen's reals are merely crowned republics. Sovereignty resides in the people in all but name. Their elected representatives are accepted by The Queen as the government. They govern in her name, but their basis is the popular will as expressed in the ballot box.

Is that racist?

@mc0558 Not so, the man sharing the queen of Tonga's carriage was the head of state of an East Indies Sultanate. You're right the attribution of the comment.

@andyrick123 No, I think she was the Tongalese prime minister and of Indian origin.

Probably depends on who her successor turns out to be...

Well it will be King Charles and Queen Camila Parker Bowles-Windsor, won't it? He's the "heir apparent. . . by law established". God help us!
mc0558 2 years ago
yes but people would probley want william more than charles
MegaZerotohero 2 years ago
People may want William more and God willing they may get him, but Charles will have to voluntarily step aside or the Act of Succession will have to be altered.
Surely someone there is thinking what will be most likely to carry the support, not only of the British people but the more problematic response of the Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders for whom the monarchy in fact does so little.
mc0558 2 years ago
The monarchy as an institution does a lot for Australia actually. Most young Australians seem to have great respect for The Queen, more so than their parents anyway... I personally think Charles would be a great King
SohoDelights 1 year ago
@SohoDelights The monarchy is connected with the Church of England; it represents the traditional values of honour, loyalty, duty, honesty, courage. Charles has shown us that he is not qualified to be king. He himself has said that he wants to be "Defender of Faiths", but that is not the legal provision. Living with a divorcee and having been one himself, after betraying his wife for 5 years, he possesses none of the personal qualities for the job. Whereas, William does.
mc0558 1 year ago
That is a black spot on his reputation indeed, but I admire him for the enormous work he has done for charities. Charles has done so much good for the world, and I really think it's a shame that we only remember him for his relationship scandals. All we can say is what's done is done, and we can hope that he has learned from his mistakes
SohoDelights 1 year ago
@SohoDelights Charities? He is supposed to do charitable work. What else does he have to do? He has an income of about £20 million a year, for heaven sakes. It is also memorable for his surley temper and offensive sense of humour. On a state visit to Saudi Arabia, he was introduced to a relative of Osama bin Laden and threw up his arms in horror, saying please don't assassinate me. Ha ha! But the only one laughing was him. Everyone, including the King, was insulted.
The man is a cretin!

@mc0558 I for one am glad the Saudi king was 'insulted' It's the Saudis who are financing the Islamists and, for that matter, the diaspora of illiterate, peasant Muslims into western Europe, North & South America and Australasia. You surely don't believe they paid their own passage.
andyrick123 1 year ago
@mc0558 What would a president be then? Any better? Because he's elected "by the people"? What people? There is not one president in the world elected by a smashing majority! They are "elected" by parties, represent parties, being mere party presidents! Btw only few go to the polls! A president is never "elected", though presidential folclore suggests so! Presidents have no identification, no tradition, no historical conflict! Scots don't like Englishmen, but that's a "whole 'nother ball game"
Rotebuehl1 1 year ago
@Rotebuehl1 You may remember that we executed Charles I, kicked out James II and deprived his son and his son's children of the succession. You may not know that the Act of Succession of 1701 passed over some 30 odd individuals to entail the British crown to Sophia of Hanover and her progeny. The British people make Kings and unmake them. The monarchy is a unifying symbol, not a divider. Charles divides us and has thereby lost his purpose.
mc0558 1 year ago
@mc0558 I'm not trying to protect Charles in any way! But I don't line up with the usual unspecific and undifferentiated argumentation! Only because an alleged majority says incorrect things, doesn't make them more true! But you're convincing: "The British people make Kings and unmake them. The monarchy is a unifying symbol, not a divider." If Charles divides, then take William, who then could also become a longtime sovereign, like his grandmother! But the Queen will live long enough, won't she?
Rotebuehl1 1 year ago
@mc0558 Fidei Defensor can be translated to both Defender of the Faith and Defender of Faith - He has shown himself to be a serious thinker - no religion can, hand on heart, claim to know "the truth" - Prince Charles has many strengths, not least not being afraid to speak his mind.
andyrick123 1 year ago
@andyrick123 It is not the function of monarchy to speak its mind, unless the issues are totally uncontroversial, impinge on the constitution, affect the well-being of the nation or endanger the freedom of the people, all of which the Crown is there to protect. Otherwise the monarchy should remain silent. Worse than that, Charles has shown himself to be an insensitive cad.
mc0558 1 year ago
@mc0558 No, there's no reason whatsoever for Prince Charles to "step aside" - in any case I can't see William being a party to such a move - he gets on extremely well with both his father and Camilla.
andyrick123 1 year ago
Well we all know what happened to the first two Carolus Rex's.
And they weren't sullied by divorce...I just want a few Edward VIII postboxes i guess (only 161)
blacbear 2 years ago
It isn't just the divorce; it's the way he did it, taking that poor girl and turfing her about like that. Yes, she was neurotic, but if he had been different she would have been fine. She was the naive, immature girl; he the Cambridge educated man of the world.
But there is all sorts of other stupidities he has committed, e.g., coming out against certain architects and artists. Who the hell is he to make comments about other people's work?
mc0558 2 years ago
@mc0558 And who are you to sound off about how he does his?
andyrick123 1 year ago
@andyrick123 I'm a UK citizen. The monarchy is answerable to the people. Charles cannot be King if we do not wish him to be, and I do not think we do. Polls in Britain are outspoken. I don't know with the Canadians, Aussies et. al. think; and that is very important too. Charles is not the worst bloke in the world, but as far as the British are concerned he's lost our respect, affection and support of the nation. And his wife is forever marked as a home wrecker.
mc0558 1 year ago
@mc0558
Rumors are, that Charles will choose another name instead of "Charles III." More likely "George VII."
Kings and queens are free in that matter,as long its one of their given names.
rivenoak 1 year ago
I was being facetious. I hope and trust that he will not be The King at all.
mc0558 1 year ago
@mc0558 Hopefully mc0558, by the time Charles accends the throne, Scotland will be an independent, but small province of the European Empire. Have you noticed how quiet "Independence" Salmond has been of late? The Celtic Tiger has run out of (borrowed) steam - you need English money.
