Google Wave: Scrolling

I hate this "feature" - it's the worst part of Wave. The tiny scrollbars are more difficult than native ones to click due to their size (violating Fitt's law), and they use "smooth scrolling" which is something I also despise and always disable whenever possible.

It's incredible that Google would make such a fundamental mistake. You'd think it would occur to someone that if you need a video to explain how your scroll bars work, something is seriously wrong.

Also I noticed that you can just click the top or bottom area of a wave to scroll down in tiny increments.

Interesting idea, but tragically flawed. It is not what users are expecting.
