Looks like he is doing well, it could have ended badly. The character was not written so well,cannot blame the actor. But there was a few real memorable scenes with him. The "final mission" episode was one of my favorites. When Capt. Picard said, how he was always proud of him. A well acted scene.

I met him several times in a San Antonio
mall and he followed me throughout the mall plus he threw some clothes I was arranging in a fixter and told me and my co-workers that the store didn't have anything he liked. One of the ladies told him to leave the store and that they didn't need customers like him. Sorry to give the bad news, I have been treated very badly by him. I hope he is nice to all of you.

I love how articulate he is in his speaking and writing. I so enjoy reading his blog at WWdm:In Exile. I haven't yet read any of his books yet..don't know what I'm waiting for.

I have had a crush on him since jr high/high school... Star Trek TNG is the best show ever made and I still watch the DVD's. I always got sooo excited when he was the main character... I remember way back when I saw him on a Saturday morning show and he said there are 3 things I always say on a rollercoaster... "ahhhhhhhh" "ahhhhhhhh" and "ahhhhhhhhh" hahahaha... you rock Wil!!

read a few blog reviews about the book "The Happiest Days of Our Lives" and saw that the big geeks out there (SlashDot/Blastwave etc)love it. If I google for the title with a negative pink ( need "-pink" to get rid of the pink floyd hits ) then I get the geeks that wrote real reviews. So .. have to get that and read it for sure.

I'd love to meet Wil Wheaton someday and ask him to sign my copy of 'Just a geek' since it's one of my all time favourite books, but judging by what he says in the book, he doesn't like autographica events all that much. If you're reading this, Wil, please pop over to England, UK to Milton Keynes's event 'Collectormania' (Which would probably be right up your street), where I would love to meet such a legend.
