Yes it is true that she did not sing this song. It was sang by Renee Sandstrom. It is documented. Renee also provided the singing voice of Princess Fiona in Shrek and Shrek 2. I don't know if any of you are old enough to remember but Renee got her start on a Disney show back in the 80's called Kids Incorporated, the same show that gave Fergie (Black Eyed Peas) her start. It was a show about a group of kids in a band.
