  • Great interpretation. These tunes can be very tedious at times but not here .

  • Merry Christmas <3

  • awesome!

  • nice jazzy version!

I don't know if it's just MY ear, but the piano sounds a hair out of tune though.

  • awesome!!!!!.......... :D

  • YES! This is so calming me as I write an essay/ take a final :) thank you

  • Ugh. Me and my choir have to sing the jazz version of this song with "do's" and "da's" and it is SO FRICKEN HARD.

  • Thanks for all the great comments. It was great fun recording these songs (as his bass player). I love working with Bill in the studio. If you want to check out more of his stuff, check out his DVDs at musicenthusiast.tv/community/catalog/88. You can also find the CD for those songs at CD Baby or at iTunes - search for Bill Susman Trio, Christmas Cool

  • great job guys

  • in sweden this song i mainly known as a cildrens song with the lyric(translated to english) Our bussdriver, Our bussdriver ,he is a man withhappy spirit. or something like that.. same in your country?

  • You have absolutely right: Swedish: En busschaufför, en busschaufför det är en man med med glatt humör

  • Haha! Lasse Åberg gjorde en variant som hette: "En Blå Banan" Som karaktären "Trazan Apansson" I ett barnprogram för länge sedan.

  • lol nice

  • oh megatron oh megatron thy guns are so unchanging

  • :) cool....

    I like this.....

  • that's awesome. i need to learn to play like that. my background is mostly classical piano, but i'm wanting to study jazz as well.

  • Studying jazz is great, but you will realize that jazz is more of a lifestyle rather than a style of music. These people pour their lives into Jazz, and it is part of them. Once it's discovered they never stop.

  • Oh, I Really Like !

  • yeah. thats it

  • meeeeeeeen!

  • Great music! Congratulations!

  • so cool i love it.

  • Fabulous. I feel inspired

  • bravo!!! anche io l'ho fatta, ma non siamo stati bravi come voi!

    good

  • can anyone tell my where to get the sheet music.

  • Thats was so cool!

  • You can go and pay $10 for a Christmas jazz CD, but why?

Search YouTube: jazz Christmas, and you will get at least 1,000 jazz Christmas songs to listen to for free. I love jazz Christmas

It is nice to get a jazz Christmas CD for travelling.

  • >>>You can go and pay $10 for a Christmas jazz CD, but why?

Because the artists who create this music deserve to be paid for their work? They don't get paid, they don't eat, they have to find some other line of work.

  • Are you kidding? I listened to a few of your "songs." I think you can only pass off that kind of crap in a you-just-don't-get-it wrapper for so long before people start to smell it.

  • seiw! I MISS YOU!

  • Hi there from a fellow Jazz musician. I have a question for you. Would it possible to send me the changes you played in this tune? I would love to teach the progressions to my students. Im a a jazz prof. here in Vegas. You guys are great! Thanks.

  • Very nice, I really enjoyed it. Can you send me the changes you were playing? I would appreciate it greatly.

  • nothin like christmas jazz to soothe the soul, best kind of music in my opinion n_n

  • Bill is a great teacher and passes this knowledge on to his students. In turn he has learned from the greats including Guaraldi. So what IS your problem soccer7777? Ever hear of an "homage"? People like to hear good music and not always some cutting edge crap for the sake of being "original". Bill has plenty of original music for concert ensembles as well though not Christmas music.

  • Actually, the changes are much different than Vince's version.

  • So what? If noone borrowed harmonies and licks from others jazz would be dead.

    This is great stuff.

  • nice :D

  • dude everytime i here great music like that, it drives me to get betta.

  • finally. a person who says it inspires them to get better instead of the typical dumbass saying "every time i watch him it makes me want to quit." gj for being smart.

  • hey can u send me the sheet music for that song?? casue i have like the easy version and i wasnt the more modern and advance one

  • Something hilirious here. I don't know if it's a jazz thing but in a oscar peterson's CD, there's a person that makes this murmuring sound, and I hear the same sound here as well!

  • ahha yeah jazz people like to do that kind of stuff while their playing. i had the same reaction when i started hearing sounds in the background

  • The murmuring sound is the pianist. Oscar peterson does that as well on his records when he's playing and so does keith jarrett. Lot of jazz players make noises when they're playing cuz they're so into the music.

  • You should hear my jazz professor when he gets into it! You can't shut him up! I'm a jazz vocalist, so I don't have room to murmur, haha, but vocalists have habits that we get into when the music moves us. It's funny to watch a listen to jazz players and find out our quirks!

  • ha, ha!!that's one of the greatest things i've ever seen!! unbelievable! (;
