The way food is mass-grown/produced these days leaves a lot to be desired. It's no wonder that we are reaping the consequences of very poor practices. That being said I don't consider pork food. I believe God is my creator--and I'll trust His teachings about what He created for me to eat and not to eat.
There are millions of people in this world that have never eaten pork, we do not need pork in our diet. But because the bible lists it as an unclean food, mankind must have. Man thinks he knows more that his Creator. Christ is returning soon to prove to man that he does not know how to govern himself.
It's interesting. My father in-law got sick one time and the doctor even told him to stay away from Pork because it is not good for him. God tells us not to eat it. Do we listen when God tells us not to? Of course not. Pork, clams, Lobster etc. is not for human consumption. Because we don't listen more and more deceases will come upon us where there will be no cure. We do it to ourselves. Men can be so stupid.
Thank you for another informative program. If Saudi Arabia and other countries ban pork then there is a good reason for it. Like you said , God banned it from the beginning! Pork and pork products are unclean, period. God's dietary laws are in Leviticus. Pork/shrimp and shell fish are one of the first foods that dr's tell you to stay away from when you have health problems....maybe that is one of the reasons we HAVE health problems to begin with!! Man has much to learn that God already knew!
Man will say its ok to eat pork, one time butter was bad and we should eat mar grin, then it changed back to butter was butter. As for me I will follow Gods law not to eat pork. I pray that man will turn back to God and His Laws.
H1N1 influenza viruses are not transmitted through food. Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F kills bacteria and viruses.
The events now sweeping over what used to be the "super-power" of the world are hard to believe--especially at the pace now happening. Not good news for now, but as you so rightly proclaim--there is real hope in what God has promised!
