  • a babe for sure

  • i love how he moves his lip back and forth when he says Dinah. I just wanna bite that beautiful bottom lip of his :D

  • @omarskats3000 - Yes, he's definitely sexy guy. RIP Ricky.

  • This song demonstrated Rick's voice range. I love when he sang "Dinah" at 1:43 and on to 1:50 and repeated near the end. I wish this and all of his videos were in color. It's still great to listen and watch.

  • I love him!!

  • I'm Dinah Lee! xP

  • He sings this really well... If you can ignore the cluttered, muddy instrumental arrangement behind him. Usually his back-up is excellent, but this isn't working.

  • This is faboulus! He is improving in front of america. I pray for half of his talent!

  • Whatever do y'all think happened to that guitar?

  • @leigh877 - I read that got stolen from someone else's house. I read it in "Lonesome Town- the real story of America's Favorite Family." It isn't official. I don't think there is an official biography. If grammar is a big deal, don't read the book. The editing is horrible!

  • @Thearl I thought it got burned in the plane crash he was in. If it was stolen, then that's really too bad. His twin sons would have treasured it forever.

  • @leigh877 I heard Rick's guitar was stolen while he was host, on saturday night live, around 1978.

  • Thanks for the post.

  • To have to Rick miming on tv was the worst idea.

Rick Nelson never went to Ed Sullivan tv show to sing live with his band and this was a great mistake of Ozzie.

  • This is one of the best songs I've heard in a while. Too bad some writers and producers keep Rick going in the late 70's.

  • I think he pulls it off, but I would bet money this is another one of Ozzie's ill-advised ideas. He always had Rick do these old 30s tunes. Sometimes it worked(Fools Rush In), sometimes not.

  • Dinah is an old 1930's Eddie Cantor song, arranged by Jimmy Haskell, sung brilliantly by Rick. James Burton's tremlo major seventh chords are not readily audible. Guitar is there - you need to listen to the original recording. Bill Parker and Iain Young writers for Ace Records - check Rick's Rarities on Ace' website. Keep on rockin'.

  • Aujourd'hui 31 decembre pensons à Ricky

  • Ricky had a real nice voice.
