  • I have similar kit, but my Bodum frother broke, the glass broke in the wash. I now have Bialetti one, all metal! if you refine the froth by hitting / slapping the bottom of the frother after frothing and swirling the milk and froth around you dont get the big bubbles on top of your coffee. just a suggestion!

  • is this the 1 cup pot?

  • @92CUNDO It's a 3 cup pot.

  • News for everyone who loves coffee, the original Bialetti's establishment in Omegna, that has been abandoned due to crisis, now is working again. The new brand is called Forever, you can find it here "foreveritalia.it"

  • @grogmaninteractive nice website... All others beware, AV is blocking "foreveritalia.it" because it attempts to install a Trojan.

  • @Saiule I hadn't any bad intention. On my pc the site works with no problems...probably on Linux the Trojan can't start.

    I'm sorry about that.

  • That is not a cappuccino. You put in way to much milk. That, my friend, is warm coffee-flavored milk.

  • @Maafa1619 and soya milk at that! Fucking hell, call the police!

  • Great video.. I also like the Bialetti Moka. Ill try making cappuccino today :) thanks for the idea...

  • Der Cappuccino aus der Bialetti schmeckt besser als der aus dem Vollautomaten. Ich trinken ersten jeden zweiten Morgen.

  • What do you do if the stove is too small? I see that on top of the stove there is like an X where you can put it on. Mine is like this [ ]. I can't put it on top so I wonder if I could place it on the stove itself? Like where the gas comes out. I don't know if it can do any damage... Anyone =)?

  • mmmm....get in my belly....

  • My mother have one of these Bialetti Moka, but she is traveling and I really needed a drink for coffee. I didn't know what to do until I watched this. Thank you very much!

  • This is the best Bialetti video...very beautifully shot and enjoyable to watch! I agree with dureyes...Amazon is getting lots of business from this!

  • Could this work on induction stove?

  • @TheSweetalchemist

I quote from : "Suitable for all heat sources except induction".

You will need the Bialetti Venus Induction for that.

  • Beautiful photography. But I recommend putting preboiled water into the bottom section, then watching as the coffee comes up, and as soon as it changes colour to a light yellow (it should be a rapid change) place the moka pot on a cool wet towel to quickly stop the extraction. By not over extracting, the coffee in the cup tastes so much better.

  • professional? I don't fing heating milk in microwave professional...

  • Great video

  • eccellente, nice little clip

  • I use to have one of these before... I know the coffee is not as good as the coffee made from the real espresso machines, but it is definitely way much better than the coffee made from those crappy regular electric coffee makers.

  • "....the coffee is not as good as the coffee made from real espresso machines." Absolutely not true! Different brewing methods bring out different characteristics of the exact, same bean. Use the same bean in an Espresso machine, the Bialetti, French Press and Aeropress and you'll get 4 different flavors, none better than the other. It comes down to the quality of the coffee, the complexity, and of course, personal preference.

  • nicely done. what is that hand grinder call.

  • I don´t know where you live but tap water is usually a NO-NO...

  • Nice video but ugh Nicaraguan coffee. Go with Costarican or Colombian instead...

  • The video might bee well done BUT the actual taste of the coffee is VERY VERY BAD in comparison with the real thing. I have been using Bialetti Moka for a long long time.

  • @pianothatilove - obviously you haven't tasted my coffee! :)

  • @pianothatilove

I've owned this mokka(6-cup) for more than 2-months and absolutely love it! The flavors are bold and full flavored.

Grind your own and buy high quality Arabica Beans (e.g. Peets Coffee).

  • @pianothatilove And you didn't use it correctly for a long time. Most people leave the heat on too long, and the coffee gets bitter. When you hear the water spattering sound, you should turn it off within 20-30 seconds.

  • @pianothatilove Shit in, shit out.

Try using better coffee bean. You get what you pay for after all.

  • @pianothatilove How do you define "the real thing"? I have both moka and espresso machine. I think the taste of the coffee made in each of them is different, but none of them is worse. Try using light roasted coffee for moka. The dark roasted may result in too bitter coffee, as the brewing temperature in moka is slightly higher than in espresso machine.

  • reminds my of those lurpak adverts, you should get a job in some editing company!

i just bought a Bialetti Brikka the other day, i have the same frother :D

  • what did he put last thing?

    choclate ?

  • This is such a cool video, it looks very professional and it should be a commercial on TV because I just ordered online this whole set, thank you. Great job!

  • @dureyes Thanks to everyone for the positive comments! Enjoy your coffee Duryes!

  • @dureyes professional? I don't fing heating milk in microwave professional...

  • Awesome! Great work!

  • Definitely the BEST moka pot video on the web. Definitely!

  • Great professionally-looking video!

  • Nicely done, sir.

  • so relaxing to watch

  • Looks delicious!

  • Absolutely amazing cinematography =D Best video of making coffee I've seen before

I loved your effect of grabbing the cocoa dog

  • Best info on using a Moka Express is actually a user review on amazon, on the six cup Bialetti Moka Express, first review there by T. Speidel. Great video btw, well shot and edited.

  • where can i get the La Cafetiere coffee mill and Bodum Latteo milk frother, or something like it? anyways, AWESOME VIDEO!!! TOP NOTCH N HOPSCOTCH!!!!

  • @CrystalGoddess101 I didn't but I think you can get both from Amazon. The coffee mill has mixed reviews, mine's great but they are cheap so I imagine quality is mixed and I got lucky - HTH :)

  • @CrystalGoddess101 I think you can buy a Bodum Shin Bistro 5-Ounce Milk Frother

and a Bialetti Brikka 4-Cup Stovetop Percolator at Amazon .com or a Bialetti Moka Express Stovetop Espresso Makers:

  • WOW! Fantastic video!

Love the sounds of grinding and assembling the Bialetti. You've obviously taken a film class or two.

  • @Aldehyde21 Nice of you to say so but no. I have a diploma in photography but I bought the video camera in December, downloaded the trial version of Premiere Pro, worked through some tutorials on Adobe TV and this was the result. I've never worked in video before, did a bit of super 8 when I was a kid. So, thanks for the compliment :)

  • so i ended up getting the regular moka express because i wanted to serve for than 1 person sometimes (brikka only 2 cup or 4 cup i heard). still trying to get the hang out it hehe. my coffee is a bit bitter and not as flavorful as i like yet =/

  • @ptoda123 Be sure to use coffee ground for espresso (filter coffee is too fine and cafetiere stuff not fine enough) or grind your own (ideal). Should be about like sand grains. I find cafetiere grinds make especially watery and nasty coffee in the bialetti. Good luck.

  • @jimmyspitt aye, if you brew coffee with boiling water it'll be bitter, not 100% how this applies to coffee you've already brewed but it's probably not a good idea to boil it. Better yet, don't leave your Bialetti unattended for the few minutes it takes to brew, I boiled one dry once, nice smell actually but it made quite a mess of the coffee pot..!

  • loved your video! hey do u recommend the brikka, or do u think any bialetti moka pot will do?

  • @ptoda123 I've not tried the Brikka but they look cool! I use the Bialetti for long drinks, cappuccino or americano, and I have a 'Presso' which makes a double espresso (like the Brikka I think?) and it rocks :)

  • nicely done! anyone who loves their bialetti can appreciate this, and that grinder is very cool

  • looks awesome!

  • excellent! love this honest video

  • Sweet grinder.

  • Great video. I make mine with 1% milk an aerolatte frother and 2 drops of real vanilla. Good stuff!

  • Ah yes, I must try vanilla!

  • great video! love it! :)

  • Why thank you. I made it as an exercise to learn Premiere Pro.
