  • My heart breaks to pieces hearing this news.

  • FUCK BASTARDS, THEY SHOULD BE FACING DEATH PENALTY BY NOW.

  • Are you insane he was bruised all over. What did he do all that himself at 2??Both kids were mistreated it has nothing to do with CPS.The 2 yr old is dead from having his head smashed in.They both are guilty!!!!!!!

  • You people who judge the adoption from Russia just cause you dnt want 'em to get richer and talk about the birth control etc. There are some stupid parents yes but still the kids needs homes, they have done nothing wrong, they have done nothing to deserve to live in orphanage. DO you even know how MANY street children lives in Russia? Its sad to even think.

Im just wondering.. Why its always kids adopted in Russia thats gets kill in American family? Its sick, stories like this are unbeliavable.

  • This is why adoptive parents need mental evaluations befor and after adoption.

  • @TaltosGirl . Adoptive parents do get mental evaluations, before they can adopt. Did you know that?

  • So so terrible... =/

  • they fucking make me sick

  • This is such a sad matter but the reality remains, Russia has tons of homeless kids. They could grow up in utter despair in Russia or be adopted to the west. Russia refuses to deal with their HUGE social issues, such as prostitution, the gianormous poverty gap and homeless children as mentioned above. Borders should be opened to allow the poor Russians to escape from their desperate country, which their government has other plans with - social issues not being one of them.

  • Like how you escaped

    from your impovirished 4th world

shithole country called south africa ?

an AIDS Infested and full of rape crimes

    and prostitution. what a worthless

    hypocrite monkey.LOOOOL

  • @happyness01 Birth control is widely available in Russia, why aren't they using it?

  • How are they Americans? Look at their names. The video said that the husband was a Russian citizen.

  • If I was a lawyer I would say OBJECTION! It was obvious he killed him and the other guy well not really he killed the 2nd one HE SHOULD'VE KNOWN THAT NOT BUYING ANYTHING TO DRINK WOULD KILL HIS CHILD! (and soon him if he didn't drink anything)

  • not really kill the 2nd one*

  • X__X

  • x__x

  • q se pudran en la carcel!

  • I do not trust CPS. We have to GATHER THE FACTS, INVESTIGATE and see what happened. If the child fractured its skull due to an accident, then the couple is innocent. With CPS folks are assumed GUILTY until proven innocent, which is the total opposite of normal American law, and particularly criminal law. I will withhold judgement until a THOROUGH INVESTIGATION is conducted.

  • MONSTERS!

  • Принятие и воспитание болен и отвратительно. Это дело оборотом похищенных детей на богатых людей.

  • 70,000 adoption in 10 years from Russia to USA. What the hell is Russia doing with its Petro-dollars!

  • All the money goes to Moscow.. The richer keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting poorer.. It's bullshit.. no one gets paid hardly anything..

  • Fuck child abuse!

  • Venucor- ban adoption abroad?? And let's not forget the man in the story is a Russian national. Plus, Russian ARE encouraged to adopt. Children are placed in the data base for 6 months or more for the Russian families to adopt. THEN, a Russian family can still take a referral from an International family if the family hasn't made the first trip.

  • The account in in Nikolai's name because saving his life is the reason they are now having to fight for theirs. They love him and miss all of their children...the THREE they had before, the ONE they are grateful to have now from Russia, and the sweet little angel boy they lost.

  • We are fighting to have the truth come out and need help to keep the attorney who is defending Kim against the legal games of guilty until proven innocent. You can call Tooele Federal Credit Union at 1-800-662-9522 to find out how to donate and help this family.

  • Readers have forgotten that everything they read is not unbiased or correct. These parents, my friends, and the rest of our family are in a nightmare. They went above and beyond what most of us do to help a disabled child, and when tiny Nikolai couldn't survive, people who don't know the truth blame them.

  • This has ripped apart the existing family they have. No wrong or harm was done. How can we call this justice? We stand in sick awe and helpless desperation.

The thing that is sad is that media, including this site, have SOME information that is correct, some that is wrong, and plenty left out.

  • We are apalled by the fact that our justice system here has turned our heroes into another set of victims. They did not hurt these children and have been fighting to save them and bring them home from the terrible situation they were in. This has caused misunderstanding and misplaced anger at the very people who are mourning the loss of their beloved little boy.

  • I am close family of the Emelyantsev's. They spent the last year going through Russian courts and procedures, spent a great deal of money, bought a bigger home, and worked to have Kim at home in order to make a home for these two boys. They wanted to give these children a chance for a good life where they would be nourished, loved, and cared for by all of us. They knew what they would be dealing with because they have a daughter with Down's Syndrome.

  • ой как вы тут раскудахтались сволочи такие

  • Please think of all of the adoptive parents who grive daily that are currently waiting 2 plus years to bring home the child that they call theirs. And, keep in mind that only the negative is reported in the news. They do point out that from the 70,000 adoptions to the US there are 14 deaths. Yes, that 14 too many however they also admit that 3000 children die in Russian homes per year. The children are the ones who are important!

  • How can Russian children be adopted abroad?

Are the Russians incapable of caring/looking after their own?

  • I suppose in India they would just kill off the females... Would they be described as incapable of looking after their own?

  • Lets not compare countries, OK!

What I meant actually, is that, adoption from abroad should be banned by Russians...

The govt should encourage home-grown parents even more with financial incentives!

I presume/hope Russian corporates/Govt agencies/NGO's have the financial resources to encourage this!

  • With 600,000 orphans, apparently not

  • Thank you for the posting.
