  • Guido rules!!

  • I've always wanted to know the origins of written music, thankyou.

  • I think metallica is better

  • @metallicadudeyahoo ignorant

  • This helped me a lot with my project about the polyphony thanx.

But you forgot Si (B) at 2:02 is Ut; Do.(C) Re; Re (D) Mi; Mi (E) Sol; Sol (G) La; La (A) Sanc-te Jo-han-nes; Si (from the capital S and the J wish sounds like an I; (S)ancte (I)ohannes) (B)

  • @AllDayIDreamAboutXXX But "Si" is not by Guido. He only thought in "Hexachordes" (Ut,Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La) . From ca. 1500, Si is used. Earlyer, when needed the note B, they got it by the "mutation of Hexachord".

  • @nairolfxii1 Thanks you are right. it all makes sense now

  • Fascinating.
