  • I like the bike racks. That was a requirement for my brothers trike.

  • they wrap around the front seat, straddle it like on a motorcycle...they is 6-8 inches of clearance all the way to the front air inlet.

  • I love it but where do the legs of the passenger go?

  • This i so cool......im also trying to build a trike ....could you please show how he reverser gear work.........please.....

  • I used a starter motor from a Yamaha 750 that I got off of ebay, attached a gear that is the same as the front gear on the Kawasaki zrx1100...I can pull a lever and the cable attached pulls the starter down to engage the chain of the motorcycle...I push a button and the motorcycle goes backwards.

  • Hand built front end and steering from scratch, used Indycycle plans

  • You did a great job grats!! where you bought the front end steering?

  • thats cool, yeah i would love a vid of the reverse gear that would be great keep up the good work thanks dave..

  • i´m building a similar one could you post a video of how to add the reverse please and maybe a pic of how shifts work

    your help would be nice

    nice job

  • WOW! that thing is fast and AMAZINGLY SIMPLE! awesome work man!

  • Thanks for the help! Yeah my thought was to weld a piece to the gear with 2 of those bolt keys. Not sure if that makes any sense cause I have a hard time explaining my ideas. Once I make the part of draw it everyones like oh so thats what you mean.

  • Thanks. I will try to take wome more photos and add to web site next week. The biggest problem is that you can't weld the gear to the starter because it is hardened metal. You have to have a "key" machined into it.

  • Im building something similar. Im working on designing the reverse. I had the same idea about the started for the reverse. Just wondering if you had any more pics of how to set up your reverse?

  • Nice work. Cost to date?

  • $5,000 for the motorcycle and ~ $6,000 for everything else. About 1,000 hours of labor so far...(2 years)
