Saw them with Coldplay at MSP. Good stage presence, good opening for Coldplay. I never really noticed the Alternative Country genre before these guys. After seeing them live I picked up some songs off of eyetunes. It is good roadtrip music - reminds me of the Tragically Hip

not bad! All the musicians in At the Drive in have changed so much in their styles over the years. Kinda like most musicians i suppose. I played indie, poppunk, tech-hardcore, grime rock, electronic funk... natural evolution i suppose..

no, i meant Sleepercar played a few more songs. Coldplay played one more song, Green eyes. it was really good and he was funny about it. he was like "this is a song we have never tried to play on a tour before....its not the best coldplay song *laughs* but its not the best one.......*starts playing then about 10 secs through, laughs and stops playing* this is gonna be shit" -chris martin <3

This is some of the best music to come out of el paso. I dont know why austin is called music captial,el paso is where true musicians come from. The kind of artists that arnt in it for the money, fame, or glory. The kind that just want to spread theyre music. Thats what Jim Ward represents. That no matter how famous, or big you get, you can still get back to your roots and release an album like this. Simple, low budget, but powerful
