@hobblealong1 I really enjoy JK's studio visit videos but yes he does often talk over people just as they are in the middle of saying something interesting. I think he gets over-excited! It's really a byproduct of the same enthusiasm that brings us these videos in the first place, so lets not judge too harshly..... just shut up sometimes James! (and thanks again)
Her strain of conceptualism is based on the premise that others care about your stasis. A sad conceit. Tragic. Meantime, Katy Siegal has to go to a barn in PA to see her paintings. Thank you James Kalm. Best -
mr. kalm ....i thought the keith haring in the beginning was an actual Haring that was moved very carefully from its upper west side location in a park. am i remembering wrong?
My understanding is that this mural was recreated during the summer from photos of the original that Haring executed in the early eighties, funded by Jeffrey Deitch.
thanks mr. kalm.....i grew up in texas and now live in new york.....texas is a great place to disappear....bigger than the cliches that define it.....thanks for Fred and his special vision, nice and sincere:)
Thanks again JK... What has possessed you to start posting your real name? Also nice new production characteristics in the use of music snipits. So you're a Beck fan?
That was romantic. Texas may have saved the woman. Just sitting on that ground has the effect of a transdermal patch of Ritalin. Any information on her activities there? Thanks, thanks, thanks. I'm warming up to this.
For those of you interested in more information about Lee Lozano, check out The Resurrection of a Bad-Ass Girl Part I at the lorenmunk site, or the Brooklyn Rail, thanks JK
The talker with the camera would have done best never to speak. He ruined every possibility of letting the interviewee say something.

James is my real name, and due to imitations flooding the internet, executive decisions have been made to brand the Kalm Report.
Regarding Beck: Im a Looser seemed like an appropriate theme song.

This is a piece of art history you're giving us, James. Getting better and better with each video.
