  • The tragedy of the the whole Chambers situation, is that the drugs he took, didn't improve his performance one iota. He'd be running the same times, without them.

He was stupid and allowed himself to get influenced by the Balco crew.

  • @takharov1 Still has the residual effects of the drugs working for him? Show me a study or evidence of PEDs working 5+ years post

  • As a matter of fact I have. I do not condone cheating like you do. Not only did he cheat himself and everyone else but all his team mates in the relay medal winning quartet.

Minor mistake ? The rules are there in black and white for everyone to see beforehand. Had he any backbone he should have said no.

And he still has the residual effects of the drugs working for him. Cheats like him should not be allowed to prosper. As they shouldn't in any sphere of life.

  • £167036577142 £601436577142 ONE PERSON LLM

  • nice 1 dc proud of u buddy

  • Drug cheat.

  • @takharov1 I guess you have lived your life so perfectly? He is a young man surrounded by influential Americans. He has paid his price for a minor miss take in comparison to real life issues.

I lost a lot of respect for Steve cram taking it so personally. The guy just ran an amazing time and had to drop the comment in about the others were with him. No they clearly wasn't

  • I cannot believe he would be so stupid to take drugs again. He paid the price, time for us to see the real Dwane Chambers. Dude can stride..

  • the interview needs sub titles!

  • @rcaddict72 Well, it's what we've been planning for all season... I knew it was in the tank but I didn't want to let it out too soon, but, you never know when it's gonna come–the opportunity's just fallen... this way, and I'm very happy.

Let's see what happens tomorrow. Let's see what happens. Thanks because you've helped encourage me to keep on going. And that's all I have to say.

    So will I.

  • why is dwain not breaking the 10 second barrier for the 100m these days? it's not just because he's off the drugs now, this incredible 60m time is drug free dwain.

  • @giteausuperstar Exactly right! People don't see anything other than the past, ignorant people.

  • a guy who runs 6.42 60 meter can run 9.80

  • Lemaitre has buried Chambers in their last 3 meets. A fact.

  • hahahah i love it how they explode into the wall at the back !

  • @MrLfitz1 cause its the European champs :P

  • @MrLfitz1 stop being racist, not only black people are fast....

  • @AdamasCZ actually, i think out of the fastest 50 people in the world, 49 are black. Its not racists saying black people are faster, its just fact.

  • @Matt4Badgers of course its not a racist comment but i will add if you dont mind....black people are fucked in the water if theres a crocodile or shark behind them lol. have a good day :)

  • @Matt4Badgers ye ur right. people take offence to easily. stating the obvious isnt racist. black people are faster, i dont take offense by that. and neither should blacks when we say there shit swimmers, just based on evidence.

  • @sicknick091 hey, im offended by what you said. im black and im a very fast runner, and a shit swimmer but.... ok nvm lol

  • @blacksoilder10 haha

  • I dont really deal with runnung and all that stuff, but man oh man, chambers is a man i want to be... HE IS THE BEST

  • @CHELSEA9636 lol im talkin about the outdoor splits, not about indoor times you plonk

  • @CHELSEA9636 with a 0.9 tailwind,mo greene ran 6.33 into a headwind

  • @puljacina In indoor races there is no headwind... dude.

  • @sequiaonda78 But their is no tail-wind either.

  • After hearing him now I kinda like him

  • 6.42wow

  • great steroid use by Chambers!

  • cram is a self righteous dick. Pisses me off big time when I listen to him commentate on chambers.

  • its weird that only mo greene and cason ran faster than chambers

  • People must understand that 60m split times at outdoor are always faster than they are inside.i think many could do 6.3x in 100m but not in indoor 60m.

Dwain Chambers should run 100m 9.8x or even little faster but cant run under 10 right now.thats sad.

  • @MarxMuru AGREE COMPLETLY! But the reason why he doesn't run 9.8 outdoors is this. Mo green ran a similar time (6.39), and translated that to 9.79 the same year. Mo (and most other great runners) are not as fast during the winter (when indoors is run), because all the endurance or donkey work is done at this time. Dwain probably has the same speed all year long. so a 6.42 60 time, would equate to a 10 flat 100m time (60m split would be 6.42 approx). He is no faster outdoors than he is infdoors

  • usain bolt's 60m split is 6.31

  • @kopk888 shane williams' is 5:39 he's a rugby player. very very quick at accelarating.

  • Great run by Chambers!

By the way, Steve Cram the commentator isn't as enthusiastic here after the run as normal, because he dislikes the fact that Dwain tested positive in 2003. Other than that, Crammy's normally a great commentator, listen to him when Bolt ran 9.69.

  • @speedyslime93 Couldn't agree more, Cram to me is the disgrace, he seems to me intent on painting Chambers in the most negative light possible, were that any other GB athlete, he would have been falling out of his seat praising them, the fact that this guy works for the BBC is shocking to me, a brand that seemingly almost always takes an impartial stance on any matter, just my opinion but his views don't represent the mass, and if no one was allowed to return from mistakes, can you imagine?

  • @speedyslime93 Yeah agree, very good run! Cram loved Linford "luvvie" Christie to bits, double standards, the whole BBC entourage stinks....Michael "the legend" Johnson apart who tells it how it is and rates Dwain very highly.

  • @McBeatboxStatik kid, 6.29 is the current WR in 60m so you can't run 60 in 6.3, maybe 50m ! MAYBE

  • @illfackyouup no the record is still 6.39

  • Il envoi le dwain !!

Vous avez vu les fouler qu'il fait c un truc de fou !!!

  • Luke 1:37For nothing is impossible with God."

  • He is very good, i do for 50 m 6.55

  • @super4cool12 i ran 5.9 = 50m and i'm considered rather slow

  • dwain chambers is amazing, go dwain!! yaaaay

  • Should be no second chances for the likes of Chambers.

  • @robpri go away no one wants you here.

  • @robpri everybody makes mistakes, u cant be condemned for life coz of it.

  • @Seanod123 Yeah a big mistake. Ok don't condemn him for life but ban him for LIFE. Simple.

  • @robpri I agree totally, But i also feel sorry for Dwain, Diamond league say no drug cheats and have never let him compete, But Dehiba & Alminovato name a few were in paris, That Dehiba is horrible and i have lost respect for the french fed in selecting her, Alminova is ok but the way Dehiba cheated was unforgivable in my opinion.

  • I hope Dwain can get some races this year he got a raw deal last year on the Euro circuit but he did it to himself I guess. He's proved he can run fast clean now, so give the guy another chance, I bet Gatlin is not treated so badly when he comes back.

  • Agreed. Bolt is blowing people off the face of the earth with an incapable coach... dude ran 19.xx in High School, he's not tapped out yet

  • good in the 60s not at 100 meters, he´s good but not capable to beat Bolt...i think he need to lose some weight, then maybe..he´s to Big I think.

  • dwain chambers is getting better and better.

  • Dwain Chambers is the best

  • Dwain is capable of beating Bolt.

    If only he were younger

  • with the shot put meby xD but not with the 100m dash hahaa !

  • he got a great drive

  • @phastman99 Your analysis is sound. The breakdown for the Berlin 100m is available somewhere on the internet; the race was broken down into 20m increments...Bolt was ahead of everyone at each 20m stage ( 20m, 40, 60m etc ). He got to 60m in 6.31secs ( Greene's indoor WR is 6.39 )...

Dwain was, however, the sharpest out of the blocks...

  • i dont know if bolt could break the 60m world record. when greene broke it he got what can only be said as a lucky start.

  • @idontsignin dont forget mo greene ran 6.39 twice!!!! and in edmonton 2001 he ran the 60m in 6.29 with a headwind

  • Bolt´s 60m split time when he ran 9.58 in 100m was 6.31

  • @svried11 outdoor track is much faster than indoor, Maurice Green had a 6.29 60m split when he ran a 10.01 in edmonton

  • @theAKtor no had the 60m 6.29 split when he ran 9.82 in the final

  • @svried11 but it was not a 60m race so who cares

  • @leeg131313 what was it then?

  • @svried11 Maurice ran 6.39s and he is 175m tall, Bolt is 1.96m tall.

  • @hasanelias yes, therefore maurice should be far more explosive at a shorter distance.

  • @svried11 ''Bolt´s 60m split time when he ran 9.58 in 100m was 6.31''

True, but bear in mind Bolt ran that with a reasonable tailwind of +0.9m/s, Chambers ran this 6.42 with no wind. Also Bolt ran in warmer conditions, and higher muscle temperatures has been proven to decrease sprint times. Those factors considered though, Bolt would still have ran faster than 6.42. And I'm not saying Chambers can beat Bolt, he can't imo. Just felt Bolt's advantages on the day had to be pointed out.

  • bolt beat gay out of the blocks in Berlin but not Dwain Chambers, but gay was the closest to him up until the mid point where the gap between them increased even further.

gay was never ahead of bolt at any point in that race.

  • bolt had the race in the middle and the end (against gay). Chambers actually beat everyone out of the blocks but bolt would still beat him at 60m.

  • what is WR or ER for boys at age 12

  • nobody cares about kids that age, some top athletes dont even start competing in track and field until the age of 16.

  • Seeing as your 100m time is 1.53 times your 60 time.

Dwain Chambers should've ran 9.82, technically, last season. However he ran 10 dead, 0.18 is a lot in sprinting

  • yh but remember u cant keep you top speed up for the whole 100 u can in 60

  • people will be able to run those times within the next 10years. its all about knowing how to shift certain muscle groups to increase the top end speed through the 100m.

  • @Stereo1994 good point, but technically, ur 100m time isnt 1.53 times for everyone, because of strenghths and weaknesses mayb u are good with accel, but fade away more in the rest, do u c where im comin from

  • I did say 'kind of' hahaa

  • Why can't he run that fast in the 100m

  • stamina

  • usain bolt would beat him in the 60m easily if he really cared about running the 60m.

dwayne is the euro champ but he get obliterated by the average americans and carribeans.

  • @turnbacktime lol not the average yanks an carribeans... just usain and tyson over 60

  • .. and Powell, Olusoji Fasuba, Francis Obikwelu, Justin Gatlin, Shawn Crawford, Daniel Bailey, Yohan Blake, Walter Dix, Travis Padgett, Marc Burns.....v the list goes on and on..

  • @turnbacktime the list for beating chambers over 60?

the reason i missed out powell who out of those names is the only one who could probs go quicker than 6.42, doesn't have the head. all the rest of them are 6.5s and obikwelu is semi retired

  • most of them havent attempted the 60m thats my point.

  • bolt is IMMENSE..but no, he doesnt have the acceleration he has...His top speed is just so much higher than anyone elses.

  • Chambers is the Usain Bolt of 60m...KIND OF

  • Dwain Chambers is explosive as hell!

  • @MrKarlozz not as explosive as Kim Collins

  • @MattTrezzi13 I disagree. Kim Collins is technically better in my opinion. But Dwain Chambers is physically stronger and more powerful. Big respect to Collins though. 35 years old and he runs 10.09 (-1.4 m/s!) in the 100 m final in Daegu and earns the bronze medal.

  • @MrKarlozz Kim Collins does get better starts than dwain chambers, by a mile

  • @MattTrezzi13 That doesn't mean that he is more explosive. But yes he is faster and does get a better start than Chambers

  • My 50m dash record is 7.06 cuz our sport hall doesnt have those soft things.

  • the whites can't compete

  • Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell need to come out and run this race...they both would broke the WR...Powells start is fucken amazing and well Bolt is Bolt

  • @moses0311 Asafa Powell already has in 2004 he ran 60 meters in 6.56s

  • @RoonProductions and that was some 5-6yrs ago....let him come out now!!!

  • @moses0311 hell do like a 6.4 am i right

  • No,

They seriously don't, it puts a lot of stress on the hamstrings, and if they pull them, thats them out for the season

  • im 13 years old but i can run in 60m dash

    7.78

  • you should concentrate on improving

  • Karl16d, look at the WC final you retard, bolt was leading over dwain the whole way... Even in the start.

    Bolt = PWN Dwain ...

  • @schpie That is 100m..whole new concept...in a 60 there is more emphasis on the start, and dwain is slow....I was taking about Mo Greene ignorant one..

  • this is way faster than my rec :O I am 14 years old and run 7.78.

  • what did u expect?

  • WTF?

  • Loool, Anyone here from Welshpool High School? We had to watch this :L

  • chambers is just a cheating wog

  • not any more

  • thats like 10 meters per second

  • Maurice Greene Vs. Usain Bolt over 60m would have been epic.

  • Mo Green would have blew away Bolt...he's way to tall to un-wind for 60m!

  • no way hosay ;D!!!!!!

Usain ran his 60m split in 6,32 sec. when he broke 100m WR

  • @MrKarlozz 60m SPLIT...way different from an official 60m time and mo would still smoke him regardless..

  • mo greene ran 6.29 when he ran 9.82 in 2001 after pulling his quad 70m in the race

  • ok didn't know that. thanks for info :)

  • @mtee111 he wrecked his knee, not quad

  • mo greene ran 6.39 which is the wr

  • bolt run 6.32s 60m-split by his 100m world record 9,58s!

  • Greene run 6,27 in Edmonton 2001

  • 6,33s split in edmonton for maurice greene!!!

  • Who is European Record Holder in 60 m before Chambers?

  • Pognon i guess

  • yep,but outdoors with a tailwind

  • powell should ran 60m

  • his PB is 6,56 from 2004 in NY

  • why does he need dope?

  • you a yank?

  • omg i didnt know he was that fast lol ! :)

  • they should add 60m to olympics and world cup

  • no..

  • STELLA!

  • "Look at all my videos of Usain Bolt :)

Be Friend with me and comment the videos...."

  • your video's quality is disgusting...

  • chambers looked so fast shuda ran more like this in the final

  • whos the fool u wrote it urself mate, 'bolt ran 6.32 in the 100 final'

if u want ppl to know what u mean next time say the right thing!

  • no he didn't it was 9.58

  • 10.00 today, this guy is too much bulked up, like pickering and other british. they focus too much on 60m, they should work more on endurance.. If he did that he could go 9.70´s

  • made a mistake a costly one but there's no doubting he is Britain's no 1 simple as like it or lump it. catch

  • he has golden teeth you imbocile.

  • i only started athletics last year and i think it good to watch... especially the sprints... dwain chambers was a druggie and has payin the price for that... that dont mean i think drugs r good that just means that as soon as a world class sprinter like chambers gets found doin drugs, i dont think that makes the whole sport shit!

  • Nobody gives a shit about track and field these days, because of Drug Cheats like chambers they cant even get a crowd at the stadium let alone a TV audience.

I saw it on TV and it didnt even look like the athletes friends and families had turned up - there just werent enough people there.

Well done all the drug cheats (including Dwayne Chambers) for rendering your own sport meaningless and unwatchable.

  • Comment removed

  • i doubt it otherwise you would be a millionaire sports pro, what is your real name ?

  • mr masters why even bother commenting.

    1. if he did, a pro athlete would not be posting it on youtube

    2. who gives a fuck

  • maurice grene is better

  • I am 16 doing 7.10s manual, is that any good?

  • yes it is.

  • 6.39 maurice grene ahahahaha

  • i wonder what theo walcotts or gabby agbonlahors time would be???

  • rubbish

  • Comment removed

  • I Met Dwain Chambers, He Is Such A Nice Guy.

  • hes a nice cheater

  • This race was over before it started. Me and Cerutti got left in the blocks. Gonna bring it outdoors. Finally healthy!

  • he still has a way to bolt, in the Beijing 100m final bolt's split for 50 was 5.50 and 6.32 for the 60, but since those are indoor events it doesn't count

  • It is not IOC rules, it is BOA rules.

  • u aint gotta do drugs mate, I know u got natural talent.

  • You right, Chambers don't need drugs... Hahaha.. i saw his sextape yesterday! And yes is completly true he got talent, he do it under 6,39 seconds. I think its world record!!!

  • sex tape?! r u kidding me? dwain seems to be under the radar of controversy. it's rather apparent he's trying hard to clean up his act, & be accepted in public life. peace molinobeer.

  • read my comment again..

I was making a joke, the 60m record is 6.39.. and I said that he cum under 6.39.. of course there are no sextape..

I can't believe that i've needed to explain it..

  • it aint cool makin those kinda jokes on da net, ppl will twist. Let's face it, the guy has an embattled career, so keep the negative hype offa him, will ya?! Have a nice day.

  • artsof1- Dwain Chambers will run under 10 seconds again this season, his 60m time clearly shows that

(Mo Greene ran 6.39 over 60m an he regularly ran under 10)and if he runs under 10 again, does that mean hes on drugs again? no,he would not do it twice right?

  • Ben Johnson's split 60m in the 1988 olympics was 6.37 !

  • 6.33 - 6.37 gets quoted for some reason either because of (1) typo (2) the converted value using the wind calculator

  • wind ?? its indoor u tard

  • the conversation was about Ben Johnson's 60m split en-route to his 9.79 outdoors....there was a +1.1

  • haha before i even played this vid i knew some noob would mention the wind honestly never ceases to amaze me some people.

  • @rich187113 i think it was actually like 6,32

  • @PacoZola why use a comma?

  • @SactosBomb123 why not?
