You can't run Mac on windows legally (and it's laggy run macs on pc's anyway) but you can run windows on mac so really you can have windows software too (mac software is more professional though). @damaster77854 The single button-Mac argument is so weak. You can tap with two fingers to right-click OR you can assign the bottom right of the trackpad to right-click as it is on a Windows laptop. I haven't used a mouse since owning a Macbook and I don't need one even while playing games because I find a mouse to be too inconvenient. WIN+Tab switches windows...it doesn't minimize all but one window.

Ok, the whole Mac vs 'PC' debate is getting old now. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses and each person has their own personal tastes. I enjoy Mac OS X for most of my school work/productivity/programs, AND I enjoy Windows 7 for better music handling and gaming. Is that hard to understand? The Macbooks Trackpad has BETTER multitouch support than any Windows computer I've touched, appearance is a PERSONAL preference, gaming is not a reason why Mac sucks since SUPPORTS lots of games still.

@Yeagizzo Here's what you don't get: The operating system controls what drivers start up so if that's your problem with hackintosh, it doesn't make any sense because they run the same OS as regular macs. Also, Macs "just work" but PC's do that and more,which is why they boot so many drivers. MAC = BAD HARDWARE...HACKINTOSH = GOOD HARDWARE. Both= same OS.

1. Its more compatible with everything.

In a lot of comparison videos, I see people comparing $2500 Macs to $600 PCs and saying the Mac is faster. Well, duh. I guarantee you that, no matter how powerful a mac you can get, there is a PC thats more powerful.
Well yeah if you BUY a $600 dell or something of course the $2500 MAC would be faster. But if you BUILT a pc worth $600 it would be damn near as good as that pos mac that's worth a fortune. A $1400 self built PC would destroy that mac hands down.

By the way, if something ever goes wrong with a windows, you call and get someone that barely speaks english. Apple is fixing my MacBook Pro that i spilled a whole bottle of powerade on for free. Dell usually sucks. Even so I can usually take a busted ass Dell and get it running just fine. Try maintaining/ fixing your machines if they get messed up instead of saying PC sucks when you come across a problem. Or you could buy something better than dell, or just build your own. Building is cheaper and better if you know what you are doing. Run Ccleaner once in a while and defrag. If you still have problems then I don't know what to tell you.

And it's not just the Mac!!! I walked into the apple store to buy a USB connector for my old Ipod shuffle, and they were asking over 20$..... For a cable!!! I'm personally 100% happy with my PC and these 5 reasons will hopefully help others wake up. And until Mac starts improving whats on the inside, there's just absolutely no significant reason to pay 3x more and switch over to them.

If a "hacker" really did "encrypt" a "virus" it would still get detected. Good anti viruses have all known means of encryption such as algorithms. Plus when data is "encrypted" it can't really be read/ executed until it is "un encrypted"... usually.

Macs don't really "detect" viruses. There just really isn't that many viruses for macs because mac os makes up a small percentage of the market share (basically not very many people have macs) so therefor the virus wouldn't achieve much if it infected that small percentage. To block a virus you don't simply detect it. You have to have definitions (basically files and logs saying what the virus does). Don't insult people and claim that you know more than them... you don't

If you are saying I have not used win7 read back 3 comments and I mentioned UAC (user account control.) it is a security feature implemented on vista that makes you give it control. @damaster77854 The single button-Mac argument is so weak. You can tap with two fingers to right-click OR you can assign the bottom right of the trackpad to right-click as it is on a Windows laptop. I haven't used a mouse since owning a Macbook and I don't need one even while playing games because I find a mouse to be too inconvenient. WIN+Tab switches windows...it doesn't minimize all but one window.

Ok, the whole Mac vs 'PC' debate is getting old now. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses and each person has their own personal tastes. I enjoy Mac OS X for most of my school work/productivity/programs, AND I enjoy Windows 7 for better music handling and gaming. Is that hard to understand? The Macbooks Trackpad has BETTER multitouch support than any Windows computer I've touched, appearance is a PERSONAL preference, gaming is not a reason why Mac sucks since SUPPORTS lots of games still.

@Yeagizzo Here's what you don't get: The operating system controls what drivers start up so if that's your problem with hackintosh, it doesn't make any sense because they run the same OS as regular macs. Also, Macs "just work" but PC's do that and more,which is why they boot so many drivers. MAC = BAD HARDWARE...HACKINTOSH = GOOD HARDWARE. Both= same OS.

For everyone who disagrees with this video, here is three legitimate reasons Windows is better:
1. Its more compatible with everything.
2.It has the ability to run top tier games.
3. It can do everything a Mac can do (granted without the "cool" effects) and more.
If you just like OSX, make a Hackintosh, I dont care. Atleas you get what you pay for. With Macs its terrible hardware coupled with a decent OS. With Hackintosh its great hardware with a decent ($30) OS.

YouTube isn't the be-all and end-all of things. But it should be noted that for the film and TV industry, Final Cut Pro is NOT widely used, contrary to popular belief. Avid is the landmark program that editors use, with Adobe Premiere rubbing shoulders with Final Cut for the rest of the usage share. Windows are only good for gaming. I'm laughing right now as to how horrible quality, inside and out this $1200 Dell is. By the way, if something ever goes wrong with a windows, you call and get someone that barely speaks english. Apple is fixing my MacBook Pro that i spilled a whole bottle of powerade on for free. No warranty, they just wanted to help me out. Plus, i can play just as many games just as good on my $1400 Mac then my friends $2100 modded PC, with 16gb of RAM. Windows sucks ASS

Try maintaining/ fixing your machines if they get messed up instead of saying PC sucks when you come across a problem. Or you could buy something better than dell, or just build your own. Building is cheaper and better if you know what you are doing. Run Ccleaner once in a while and defrag. If you still have problems then I don't know what to tell you.

The weird things they do make me go crazy. I'll stick to modding out my 4wheeler, tearing it up, fixing it back up. Jailbreaking and taking apart iPhones. It would happen with an ordered Apple product too, if for instance FedEx would transfer your order and somehow, the equipment would break during the process.
I always take over products right from stores, though I tend to build 'em from scratch (find it the cheapest yet most trusty method for building a computer).

And it's not just the Mac!!! I walked into the apple store to buy a USB connector for my old Ipod shuffle, and they were asking over 20$..... For a cable!!! I'm personally 100% happy with my PC and these 5 reasons will hopefully help others wake up. If a "hacker" really did "encrypt" a "virus" it would still get detected. Good anti viruses have all known means of encryption such as algorithms. Plus when data is "encrypted" it can't really be read/ executed until it is "un encrypted"... usually.

@damaster77854 I used the short term word for encrypt. What a hacker does when they encrypt it is they scan it for viruses against some of the largest antivrus programs until it is not noticed by any. At that time they distribute the virus.

@TheMrDisser When in any "apple marketing lies" do they repeat anything I said in the last comment. Although I disagree with your statement about WIndows 7 being safer than Snow Leopard you are entitled to your opinion but from my experience macs are much more secure. I had friends who contantely had problems with viruses, registry errors, and just all of the flaws that UAC has caused and I told them switch to mac and they did and they have had no problems at all.

@Anonymouslulzmachine Yeah because the system doesnt indicate the virus. And the virus will become a really big issue the near future since apples market share is growing. Also i have several friends which got viruses on their macs the system did not indicate them and all their sensitive data, passwords and credit card information etc. had been stolen. Guess what ALL of them use win 7 now. Also apple never did sth against viruses they rather while microsoft worked on this issue really hard.

The problem is people install AVS and f.e Kaspersky indicates pretty much everything as a virus.So people think omg so much viruses but never had any virus on their PC the security of Win7 is more than sufficient. While on mac the virus doesnt get indicated so the user thinks oh no viruses which is deadly wrong and the virus can run 4ever

Most viruses you never know you have. They are used to give hackers control of your PC which is used either for keylogging or being added to a botnet. You never know if you have either. Macs don't really "detect" viruses. There just really isn't that many viruses for macs because mac os makes up a small percentage of the market share (basically not very many people have macs) so therefor the virus wouldn't achieve much if it infected that small percentage. To block a virus you don't simply detect it. You have to have definitions (basically files and logs saying what the virus does). Don't insult people and claim that you know more than them... you don't

The virus was running in the background and neither they nor the os realised that there is a virus on the system.-now they use PC. You also never used win7 because the security is very good and also you need to agree that a programm is allowed to run in the background. You dont know how a virus works obviously.

@TheMrDisser I don't believe everything Steve Jobs says, I never claimed to be a "mac fanboy." Mac isnt even my primary OS, I use a mixture of windows 7 ubuntu linux and mac osx. So they used a mac and a virus stole there info, it seems like either a keylogger or a RAT(remote administrative tool) was running and could have just as easily run had this malware run on a PC. actually it would be easier for it to run on a PC. If you download a file to a program you want to run and it pops up asking

@TheMrDisser For administrative control, you will give it to that program and it will go to work and you will never know until it is too late. If you are saying I have not used win7 read back 3 comments and I mentioned UAC (user account control.) it is a security feature implemented on vista that makes you give it control. It has caused problems because it makes it too easy for someone to give a virus administrative control over your computer. You lose, nuff said...
