  • How come Sagan is not more famous? He should be as well known as Newton, and Einstein.

  • @oopopp He is really great, but he is not comparable to Newton on Einstein. He is vary famous though. 500 million people have seen Cosmos!

  • @nirvgorilla i actually find these videos quite amazing, carl sagan would greatly approve, not get all buttsore about it like you are. i can only assume the ONE dislike is from you? lol

  • Thanks for posting.

  • Brilliant. 5:24 Wow, the scale is mind blowing....galaxies as plentiful as motes of dust in a sunbeam.

  • Wonderful job, good sir! The music at the beginning always stirs me up.

  • Oh.

    My.

    God.

    What have you done?!

  • Awesome, in the pure sense of the word. I'm sure Mr. Sagan would be very glad to see this.

  • this was released on carl's bday! my bday was the day before!!!!! :DDDDD im soo luckyy i share a close day with him

  • @callumCGLP great job, as always.

  • @nirvgorilla, bleh go away... You can still find original cosmos elsewhere... By the way mash? Definitely not worth watching

  • the greatest Ent there ever was :)

  • This man has been dead for 15 years, yet he changed my life. I wish I could thank him.

  • @nirvgorilla I'm sorry you feel that way. This project is an attempt to bring Cosmos to a wider audience. As well as the show has held up and the brilliance of Carl Sagan aside, your average person isn't going to watch a science documentary from 1980. In updating the CGI, and making the video a more engaging experience that encourages user interaction, you can effectively reach audiences that would otherwise be out of your range of influence. Thanks, in any case, for the feedback.

  • @callumCGLP M*A*S*H is old but it's still worth watching today. The effects in Cosmos still actually look decent for their age. The first chord during the intro SHUTS everyone up, so I don't want to hear it. Even though I think Neil deGrasse Tyson's "sequel" to Cosmos is going to suck, I think it'll get more people watching (and appreciating) the original.

  • @nirvgorilla

Why are you so angry? The message of Carl Sagan's Cosmos hasn't been changed.

  • @nirvgorilla Oh come on, man. You must surely recognize that Carl Sagan himself would deeply approve of these videos.

  • where was this filmed?

i mean, where is this beach/place?

  • nerd boner.

  • this is all so amazing... Words cannot describe :*)

  • Nice work (again) Callum.

  • Yes Yes Yes!

  • The moment we find a planet that we know is capable of harboring life of any sort and when all proof points to that definitive conclusion; we should name that planet Sagan. I know Carl, in his modesty, would object but I can think of no greater name.

  • This is brilliant! What a great contribution to a gem of human television! I'm sure Dr. Sagan would've approved!

    Cheers!

  • This is amazing. Thank you

  • Sweet!

  • I jizz a little every time I see that you've uploaded a new video. Then I watch it and calm myself down and get this warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

Much love, Callum. You're a good man.

  • Brilliantly done! Thank you!

  • Thanks for keeping this man and his teachings in our thoughts, remarkable.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • Callum, you've outdone yourself this time. Great work.

  • Yeees! Was waiting for this video all day and its finally arrived! Well worth the wait, keep up the good work :)

  • Ah, Carl..showing us how cool reality is, making perfect sense, and having an amaizing voice. Is there one thing you cannot do?

  • Great work!

  • MIND = BLOWN

  • Thumbs up.
