@nirvgorilla i actually find these videos quite amazing, carl sagan would greatly approve, not get all buttsore about it like you are. i can only assume the ONE dislike is from you? lol
Uhh, why are you RUINING Cosmos? It'd be like editing in explosions in 12 Angry Men... oh wait, SOMEBODY DID THAT, TOO. STOP IT YOU GODDAMNED ASSHOLES.
@nirvgorilla I'm sorry you feel that way. This project is an attempt to bring Cosmos to a wider audience. As well as the show has held up and the brilliance of Carl Sagan aside, your average person isn't going to watch a science documentary from 1980. In updating the CGI, and making the video a more engaging experience that encourages user interaction, you can effectively reach audiences that would otherwise be out of your range of influence. Thanks, in any case, for the feedback.
@callumCGLP M*A*S*H is old but it's still worth watching today. The effects in Cosmos still actually look decent for their age. The first chord during the intro SHUTS everyone up, so I don't want to hear it. Even though I think Neil deGrasse Tyson's "sequel" to Cosmos is going to suck, I think it'll get more people watching (and appreciating) the original.
The moment we find a planet that we know is capable of harboring life of any sort and when all proof points to that definitive conclusion; we should name that planet Sagan. I know Carl, in his modesty, would object but I can think of no greater name.
How come Sagan is not more famous? He should be as well known as Newton, and Einstein.

@oopopp He is really great, but he is not comparable to Newton on Einstein. He is vary famous though. 500 million people have seen Cosmos!

Why are you so angry? The message of Carl Sagan's Cosmos hasn't been changed.

@nirvgorilla Oh come on, man. You must surely recognize that Carl Sagan himself would deeply approve of these videos.

I jizz a little every time I see that you've uploaded a new video. Then I watch it and calm myself down and get this warm, fuzzy feeling inside.
Much love, Callum. You're a good man.
