This guy has to have the weakest pickups ever made on that tele..i have this amp and on a live gig with a loud drummer can not turn this amp up more than 4 on volume. Its also by far the best amp out there for the money, bar none.
@humbucker101 im considering upgraging to a new amp and this one looks great. do you know how much it is and would it be good for playing heavy metal type music? thanks
@xTheAussieMCx The haze 40 is more for classic rock, blues, country..it will do more early metal..if you mainly play all metal..take a look at the Blackstar 40, there both the same price...700.00 new
@xTheAussieMCx if you bought pedals it could produce some earlier medal tones. like 80's metal kind of stuff. for newer metal and stuff like that, go with the Blackstar, or the Peavey Valveking. stuff In that range is built souly for metal sounds. but will lack for good crunch and clean tones.
@rvallejos96 both of those amps are pretty equal to me. they sound similar except the marshall has a bit more of the el34 bite to it while the hot rod III has the fender cleans and almost marshallesque sounding drive channel.
This guy has good chops! (sideburns that is)

Also You Shouldn't Turn the gain up to ten on any amp it just makesyour tone more muddy.... leave the gain at eight and use a boost pedal

Tube amps with digital effects are awesome, who could hate that?

@MrROTD I prefer tube amps with analog effects.
