well, if you think about it, its kind of hard to sing our lady peace, because they have such a distinct sound to them. it was a good try, but not one of his best. the studio version is amazing though

i just about die when he says cancer, listen to the way he says it ): , as soon as he sings "and that shed never heard of cancer" the whole song poicks up and he sings amazingly. And "Give back" at the end, that is so sweet (; ilove u david cook!

As a big David fan, I will say this definitely wasn't one of his good performances. I actually say it's probably his worst one. However, the studio version of it is amazing, and he was able to bounce back and give his best performance the next week.

Well i cant say this was my favorite week but I love this song because it says you know we all have good hearts and we all feel lost hope but we prevail and like michael johns said david puts what ever he is feeling into the song and it turns out amazing :) GIVE BACK that was sweet =) And Paula is so right! Simon is a jack @ss I love the white jacket and i remember it even after 3 months :) lol And I loved the Lindsy Rose bracelet cause i know he was thinking of her
