yeah you can just paint them with regular polish over the gel nails, it should not harm the gel or anything. and you can remove the polish like normal with nail polish remover and that will not harm the gel nails either.

@kauaigurrl HEY... thats what i use! I LOVE sheba! You pretty much shouldnt mix odorless w/regular though. You also should try to keep the liquid and powder the same brand. I mix a lot of my own glitter acrylics using the sheba odorless brand. Try ebay for glitters or a craft store. I want to try and make some pink like that too. Or maybe buy some of theirs.. and the liquid. Anyways.. hope that helps.

When i do my acrylic nails like this, then the day after you can see gaps under the acrylic near the cuticle area, I don't know why?

What do you do with the primer, I read that you can't use on the natural nail? I think that's why there are gaps.

@XxLykke3xX hey i know u werent asking me, but i had the same problem!! it helps to use primer AND a bonding agent (for example use bond-aid and then bond-ex) before applying acyrlic, also make sure that when ur applying it, you have the rght consistency. for me, it lifts near the cuticle because i had a thick consistency that was not wet enough, so technically it is already drying as i applied it. also make sure you dont get any acrylic on the skin, because that also causes the lifting

looks nice, but it will break at the stress point very easily. White tip is done first to anchor the white to the nail plate then pink or clear acrylic is supposed to be applied after, going over top of the white.

Acrylic is removed by soaking in acetone and then pushed off with a plastic pusher or orangewood stick

I had my nails done once, payed 25 bucks and I knew why... the acrylic layer was way too thick I couldn't pick up anything, the design on it wasn't any like I wanted it to be, she also put gel over all of it, and after 3 days everything just fell off.. and my nails were paperthin that I had to cut them all down >.<
