Those are zsu 23 , which proved ineffective in the first Gulf War. Rapier is a old system, again only marginally effective against jets and stealth fighters. @Aryanpars Well it not really Iran that concerns me, its that nut in north Korea. And history usually shows its some obscure nut the world is not even paying attention to that usually starts the big war. I think the people of Iran will deal with "ole nut job" or Israel will go in an nuke them. I don't think we will have to fight Iran directly.

Those are zsu 23 , which proved ineffective in the first Gulf War. Rapier is a old system, again only marginally effective against jets and stealth fighters. The only thing the Zany Iranies have that worries me, is the new s300 SAM, it very good, very modern and very fast. Its hard to defeat. Those could shoot down a lot of our planes, even the stealth could be downed by that system.

@unclefixer It appears you do not listen carefully; all the equipment is updated meaning "they are basically different advanced equipment from the old models". You should always keep in mind that Iran does not reveal all its equipment in terms of military, most of Iran's military industry is covered by extreme secrecy; this is so they can use more of their advanced weapons in war with Israel and USA.

@unclefixer my dear friend, America's fear shouldnt be Iran's military defense technology. It should be the 70% young highly educated population with tons of skills and knowledge. Domestically this population hates the government, but attack Iran and this population will get into weaponizing the country 24/7/365 without getting paid. Oh did I mention, expect a sudden brain drain from you NASA, Silicon Valley, elite universities and defense contractors. Iranians are patriot and will return home.

That's not new. That's modifying a old Rapier rocket system you need a lot if you want a complete closed air-defense which cannot weigh up with stealth technology. None of Iran's military is new. It's all copied (actualy stolen) just like what the Chinese are doing.

@GHSRMENA Of course it is. Under these sanctions they have to relay on own production. But this is most likely not the most advanced systems in Iran. It is wise to keep the most advanced systems secret.
