Its just getting rid of a restriction, so more power can be put to the crank instead of pushing the exhaust out of the cylinders, which leads to better fuel efficiency, leading to you = fail.

i had my 2.8 corsica with a straight through muffler, and no cat. Those fuckers are LOUD! They dont sound all that great though. Got me pulled over 2 times in one week though
hay when you gonna make new videos of your car,id like to see wat it looks like i think it sounds good,an oh yeah does your down pipe hit your axle cause mine did when it had the muffler off,of course mine wasnt clampt but i cant tell if yours is so that is my question??.
