Found this by fluke.Rememering getting Smileys autograph after a show ,at a 3XY gig in 'ROCKTOBER' some where in Melb, then havin to run to to Spencer St to get the last train back to Geelong.
@ManFromMelbourne I know. And he is also responsible for the wonderful game "The Art Of Conversation" as well. He's had schizophrenia for many years, but it hasn't gotten in the way of the success he's had since Hush broke up. :)
I saw Hush a couple of years ago in Adel at a Rock n Roll show of all the past greats - they were the best! (the lead singer not as trim as he used to be but still sounded awesome)
yes yes they don't have bands like this anymore. What a corny thing to say but Hush rocked and toured and rocked and toured and kids today would love them as much as we did. Keith Lamb He is the great sound of Aussie Rock.
Looking back now, and for this song in particular, I am reminded of Bill Pullman's line in "Independence Day"........."Not bad. Not bad at all". A hard rockin' well covered song indeed.
Wonder if Les Gock ever lived this down! lol

Saw them live when they first formed in 71. They only got better. If you wanted a good night out you went to theh pub where Hush were playing.

Fantastic version of the song, sounds a lot like Status Quo which is not surprising since Keith Lamb wrote a couple of songs for them as well.

Apparently the singer, keith, suffers from skitzophrenia now.

I loved hush. Underrated and brilliant. Not to young to know was probably their greatest moment. Thanks for posting mate
