if u haven't played the game it can get incredibly annoying. the "neat gun" is the portal gun, and it mentions cake cuz GLaDOS promises the portal guy "cake" for finishing the challenge. and the "tore me to pieces and threw me in a fire" is because for the final boss GlaDos u rebound missiles and throw her pieces in a flame.
