  • Healthy!

  • thanks thats great advice.

  • that soup looks good. getting own place soon and finally gonna cook food properly.I was wondering Im a big pasta fanatic are there any good pasta recipies out there that are made in the same way. I would love to try them.

  • raw zucchini pasta is one of the most common but it can be made from root veggies, squash and even coconut meat. some people make raw lasgna with flat veggies and spinach... rawviolis with apple slices or spinach, etc. Go the the website Gone Raw - they have great recipes!

  • What type of oil do you use in your recipes, because I don't know what olive oil I should try to find?

  • I use local, organic, non filtered/cold pressed olive oil - make sure it says cold pressed and unfiltered if you want it raw. A QUALITY truly raw olive oil brand is Olifix. I love them. I also use locally made Barini. I highly recommend you get some fresh olive oil from your farmer's market, it's the best. You can order Olifix online probably, it's very good stuff... about 20 bucks a bottle but worth it. They also sell a lot of raw olive, nut and see oils on raw website. I like hemp oil!

  • Can I ask you something johnny? Do you only eat raw foods? Are you vegetarian or vegan? I eat a lot of raw veg and stuff but some types of veg is just so much nicer when cooked..Do you think your interest in this kind of thing is subconsciously related to your ED? PLEASE Don`t take offense, my question is out of curiosity(I love you and your videos are really amazing!!!)..xxxxx

  • The food I keep in is all raw. I am a raw foodist and eat everything uncooked. I transitioned to this lifestyle 4 years ago in search of balance between anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. I can guarentee you I'd be dead if it weren't for my dietary lifestyle. It has also become more than diet but spirituality, gratitude, improved mental and physical health, clarity, connection to my body, appetite, mind... I do not consume raw meat or animal products - just raw and live plant based foods : )

  • long live raw!

and vitamixes! You do realize we will live forever right? I wish I knew how to make a text/slide show video for some of my raw creations

I'm just crunching away on romaine lettuce dipped in my creamy spirulina/avocado garlic sauce... like chips n' dip I say! It's the one photo I sent ya with the maca in the background, lol.

  • Yummm, I always love your creations. Chips and dip, fabu-you! Do you have windows movie maker? most computers come with it... I can tell you how to make a video. The world needs to see your drool worthy creations, such a tease my sweet Beet! tease!

  • Yay!! I'm buying the ingredients for tomorrow's dinner :) Cannot wait-thankyouu hun! xxx

  • Let me know how it tastes! remember, less is better than more with this one unless you have a strong digestive tract - I learned last night after posting this LOL

  • mmmm this sounds really good! and perfect for me if it's good for the lungs, since i have asthma and keep getting chest infections... and you used your lovely new bowl yay! thanks for sharing this :)

    xxx

  • Lovin the music. I love that twangy home feel!

  • Ah, wasn't it perfect? I found it on you tube audio swap. I know mustard, collard and turnip greens are big in the South. Do you enjoy them?

  • I love love love them!!! I had them saturday night with dinner. I had the turnip greens and put them into a salad with fresh spinach, avocado, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, sunflower sprouts, and that black sesame dressing you made on one of your videos. It was Delish!!!

  • HOLY MOLY you need to post that as a recipe, that sounds FLIPPEN DELICIOUS, you hit my hot spots. I am addicted to avocados and mushrooms, sunflower sprouts and I LOVE SUNFLOWER SEEDS. Holy crap you just made my salad dreams come true. I will trade you some raw spicy soup for a side of salad!?

  • Heck yes lol. You would LOVE it. I even somehow managed to get my husband to taste it and he loved it. I just here recently started REALLY liking avocados. I will make a little montage of all the ingredients that I used and put up for you.

  • do you have any with spice

  • not yet, i went out and bought like 15 different spices to make my own curry. i am talking grinding things from their whole state and then mixing them together --- so i will work on that and see if i can make a good mix but it will take experimenting... i use raw olive oil as my base for dressing - cayanne is about as spicy as you are going to get. what kind of spice are you talking? sweet, earthy, hot, ethnic? i can give out ideas - gone raw is a great raw recipe website too!

  • Don't take this the wrong way but it looks like it was already eatten. How is it on the ole breath?

  • I'll be honest with everyone, I do take offense. I use raw food to motivte me to eat and help heal me in my recovery. It's crucial, I'd be dead without it. My putting negative into commenting on something from a negative prospective it's knocking what is helping me. Yes, I understand your point but sometimes it's better to keep your mouths shut. It might DISCOURAGE someone from trying this and allowing themself the healing propertites and pleasures this soup can offer. Think outside the box -

  • and remember that YOU just like this soup are your own individual and not everyone is going to find us all attractive but that doesn't mean we aren't good inside. Seriously people, think about this - not just for raw food but for life in general. Meditate on the core meaning of this message and please stop putting negative energy into something that is saving my life. Thanks.

As for breath, it didn't really effect mine - it effects the breathing more so than the breath, it opens you up.

  • I meant to say BY PUTTING negative energy - not "my" - sorry no lights on in this room right now or glasses lol You can make it up to me and rub my feet, I will grant you with some soup in return and you will love it in all it's diverse looking glory!

  • Sounds like a fair trade :-)

  • Do you only sub/bottom for foot play or are you versitale?

  • Depends on the size of the tootsies (I know, I'm weird that way) but pretty much open to anything ;)

  • do you know how to make any salad dressing i would like to try and make some

  • If you go to my raw food recipes I make this lovely tahini dressing once to put on bitter greens - it was divine, sweet though.

  • This sounds really good. I think I'm going to try to make it sometime today or tomorrow. Thanks a bunch!!! :)

  • Woohoo, take it in smaller amounts unless you have an iron gut - trust me on this one. Let me know how your body reacts to it - and taste buds, those get a nice kick with this one!

  • yea antitoxidants are very important.

    along with electraLITES ,

P.S. THANKS FOR PUTING MY VID ON YOUR FAVORITES ,THAT MEANS ALOT.

  • Oh yes! major cancer fighter! and electrolyte balance is crucial to maintain life. I know mustard greens are used a lot in the South, this is a totally different approach at using them!!! Thanks for watching dear!

  • haha i am so a daily avocado addict too, always throws the color of soups off right --- i think i've made very little soups that didn't contain it but last week i did make an apple and carrot soup without avocado... butternutsquash and apple too... oh and a carrot carroway once mmmmm here's to good health! long live raw my friend!

  • Sounds delicious..but looks absolutely terrible haha..maybe one day, or "SOME" day ill try it..but yaa koww, i eat different stuff.

  • Let me warn everyone ahead of time - make sure you have a strong digestive tract... ahhh hurt my tummy after from the pungency. This is best eaten in small amounts unless you have an iron gut : ) The avocado always adds this moss green color - which a positive mind might relate to something pleasant like greens and earth --- and a negative mind might relate to vomit or related bodily fluids, so chose as you will but this soup is highly nutritious and beats anything cooked or canned : )
